A great and stylish investment for you phone!
I am not one for typically writing reviews unless a product is completely bogus or way beyond my expectations. However, in the case of the Locustek FLUX line waterproof case for the I-phone 6-Plus, I have to say I'm thoroughly impressed. Before ordering this case, I did my due diligence and went online to investigate the product and took the time to read the Amazon reviews (both good and bad). Overall, the feedback was very positive, so I took a chance and purchased. The product was a very fairly priced when considering what the major Waterproof case manufacturers charge for their products (generally 2 to 3 times what Locustek Charges).Upon receiving my case, I was impressed with the packaging and presentation. No difference from the major manufacturers. The case itself was well constructed, very slim lined and attractive. In my research I found many to be very heavy feeling and bulky. Not a characteristic I was looking for at all.Per the product instructions (which the company and I highly advise following) I put the case through a water test. In my test I put a paper towel inside to help detect any water intrusion. The instruction indicate performing the test for 30 minutes. I left mine in for 75 minute. When done with the test, I dried my case off completely and then opened it. Not a drop of water inside. When you look at the case and look at all the spots you think...there is no way that's not going to leak...believe it or not, it worked! Impressive. After the test, I then followed the instructions for installing the phone; actually a very simple process. The phone fit perfectly...snug as a bug in a rug. I read reviews of people saying the protective screen had space between the phone and that screen, I did not find this to be true. Not sure if the manufacturer has tweaked the product based on consumer input, but I found the fit fantastic and everything worked on my phone as it should. Sound was crystal clear, touch screen responsive and the thumbprint recognition worked flawlessly. I'd say, if any comment, it would be that the screen protector rises ever so slightly on the edge of the screen to meet the plastic casing of the phone and sometimes the touch sensitivity along the edges is not quite as reactive as toward the center, however, this is easily overcome by slightly more finger pressure. I am highly impressed with the unit and when comparing to other products 2 or 3 times the cost, the choice for this case is a no brainier in my opinion. I have not had the case long, so I'll update my review later if there are any changes or concerns. However, at this point, I am not anticipating any. Finally in my research I heard many people speak of the outstanding customer service. To date, I have not had to reach out live to anyone, but I must say that I was thoroughly impressed that within 2-3 hours of receiving my case, I received an email from Johnathan Van Ness (Founder and CEO of the company). In this email he expressed gratitude for the investment, described some of the features and updates they've made to the cases over time, assurance that I'd love the product and if not to reach out to them quickly and they would remedy ANY issues immediately and lastly asking if I would share my experience withe the product online (good or bad). I have to agree with others that the fact the company even emails you and values its customers like this is pretty 'out there'. Not many companies do this and/or care. Once they have your money...they are happy. However in the case of Locustek, they seem to really value the customer and as long as they keep up that relationship with their customers, there is no way they can not succeed. For me, a great product. Do your research, read reviews, look at products in retail stores and then ask yourself...Is $80, $90 or even $140 dollars of I-phone protection really necessary when there is a product such as Locustek FLUX line cases on Amazon that can do the same job for a fraction of the cost and being retailed by a company that is willing to service the needs of their customers?

Wow is this terrible for my use....but the company is a plus
This is the worst case I have ever purchased. A lot of people love them, probably for the waterproof feature, but it is not enough for me. It is waterproof as advertised and works well if that's what you need. It does not affect call quality. Otherwise it is a cheap, cookie cutter case. I have $9 cases with better construction. It is a cheap, flimsy, and brittle case. Edges are rough and you can feel the seams. It's boxy design makes it feel bigger than it is and it is not comfortable to hold. There is no rubber bumpers like most high end cases for shock protection. The screen protector is the worst ever. It does sit flush on the screen. You can actually feel the gap when you touch the screen. It is so bad that the lower and upper cornea (especially in the keyboard) do not work most of the time when you touch it. In fact it is so bad I was convinced I installed the case wrong. I checked it about five times to make sure it was properly. I even had someone else check it. It was on perfectly. All in all this was a waste of my money. I took it off and but an extra tempered glass screen protector on (my preference anyway) and tossed the case in the dresser. I put on by $9 affinity case I got withe the phone (few cases were out at the time) until an Otterbox Commuter can get here. My Otterbox broke after a very bad fall on concrete (it hit a corner) but it saved the phone. One side note here. The company really does care about their customers. I was called by the company who wanted to find out what it was that I didn't like and offered to refund my money. It is unusual in this day and age to find a company that cares that much. While this is still not an everyday case for me I have decided to keep it for a back up and to use if I think there is a time my phone may get wet.

not a good case
case fell apart less than two weeks of having it on my phone. the Screen protection came undone and the the door for the charging port will never stay closed. worst decision to by this brand. i should have spent the extra money for the life proof case. that one never seems to have an issue!

Brittle Back Plate
The case is great except the back plate started fracturing apart around the snap edges after the first time it fell. It was about a 3 foot fall. This was the second time this has happened to this type of case (same front plate that works great but branded back plates that are brittle and fall apart).

Don't like that I have to use an extension for headphone ...
Greeat transaction. Have on a iphone 6 plus. Don't like that I have to use an extension for headphone jack but I knew that. Only apple cords fit others don't :{ and thumb print dosnt work that well, cover on top you have to hit hard to get to work functions . Most likely switching again.

This case is better that the life proof case
Life Proof? Um no. This case is better that the life proof case. I'll explain...-just as strong.-better looking.-better seal.-waaaay better mute switch.- easier to hold- not even half the price.-Teenager who bought life proof case pissed.I've said enough.

I really loved this thing at first
I really loved this thing at first. But the screen cover doesn't quite adhere to the screen completely, and debris would get in there. This is annoying aesthetically, and occasionally made the touchscreen difficult to use. After a while the port cover for the lightning dock broke off altogether.

bring your hearing aid...... Charging port door breaks...
I've had this now for a few weeks and it CAN take a beating. As a mechanic, I was looking for a phone case that wasn't too bulky and take the abuse from falling and receiving multiple fluid baths. Does great from a four foot drop onto concrete! Only problem I have is that it is hard to hear someone during a phone call and picture quality is not all that good. I'm not a photographer so I guess that doesn't matter! Ha..... For the price, it's a good enough for me who tears up a lot of stuff!UPDATE: 6/8/2016Charging port door breaks after normal use. First it cracked and then breaks shortly after. Bummed out now since its been past thirty days but less than 60 days! Feels like I wasted money!!!!
