Great for personal space. I purchased a few and placed them in different rooms in my apartment. Saved a lot on electricity bills. You can fill the compartment with water, ice cubes or my personal favourite is soaking the filter in water and putting it in the freezer for 30-40 minutes. The filters are easily cleaned by removing them from the filter frame and soaking them in water with a bit of clothes detergent. Allow to dry and replace. The air cooler plugs in to a USB outlet and can be taken anywhere.

So i just used it few times, one of those times just refreshing the water in it, I took usb cable off and the port came out with it :(

Please please don't buy this. Useless product, instead you can buy one Fan.

Misleading.In the photo as, it's arctic air but it's really an unknown brand.I receive the package and it work for just 2 minutes.

Estaba buscando una opción para mantener fresca mi área de trabajo y/o el dormitorio. Claramente este dispositivo no tiene la potencia para enfríar todo un cuarto (por pequeño que este sea), sin embargo, refresca perfectamente a 1 o 2 personas que esten en el rango de hasta 2 metros del dispositivo. Es justo lo que buscaba, mi esposa y yo lo utilizamos para trabajar, para ver películas o incluso para dormir, si debe estar cerca para que puedas sentir el aire frio. Además agregamos hielos al agua y REALMENTE enfría (mi esposa no lo soporta directamente). No esperes un aire acondicionado pero si una gran opción para enfriar el aire a tu alrededor.

This little AC really does cool down a 'space'. I have it in my bedroom on a table beside the bed. It is great at this time of the year especially here in Nova Scotia where our Spring isn't always very warm , but still warm enough to need a bit of cool air. Enter this little AC! The only thing I would like people to know is that it cannot cool a whole room, for that we need our big window AC's. Before I got this one, I had the model before this one and I was happy with that as well, but couldn't find it this year so ordered the ultra and once again I am very happy with the way it works.

This little unit is perfect for dry, hot locations! I live in Phoenix, AZ where we have already been having temps near 100° in mid April. The air in our home is so dry that we get shocked by everything we touch. This mini cooler adds just enough moisture to the air to relieve some of the static electricity while making the air in my immediate zone much more bearable. It isn't powerful enough to cool a whole room here, but it certainly works well in about a 3 foot wide path. I especially enjoy sleeping with it next to my bed. I bought a second filter the day after I purchased the cooler, so I can always have one in the freezer and ready to go when the first one gets dry and warm. My only complaints are that it is a bit noisy, and the plug gets very hot when it is running on full speed. When I am sleeping, I run it on low speed and then turn it off after a few hours.

Not at all as advertised. Bad quality and bad manufacturing. The tray was leaking water everywhere. Electrocution hazard. The front is supposed to swing but it doesnt.

No puede considerarse un sustituto eficiente del aire acondicionado ya que, sencillamente, no juega en esa liga. Para que nos entendamos: es un simple ventilador que enfriar enfria bien poco.
