My hair is wavy and very thick, and the brush works great! It tends to smooth my hair and get rid of frizz. It definitely cuts down on drying time.

can this brush b used when the conditioner is applied to detangle your hair?

Yes. But really would to. Even when the hair is damp after the shower the brush glides through. I have 4 children range from 11 years to the youngest at 2 years and they all love this brush and they have very thin to very think mine as well thick and curly and Iv never had a problem wet or dry brushing my hair with this brush! I recommend this brush to many ppl!
