Trevor knows how to depict sad situations with comedy. Most of the stories told really resonate with the typical African society. Values are instilled in children at an early age. Trevor did you finally meet Zaheera again?

Good book

The book is quite good... has a lot of valuable lessons and great humors moments. However the plastic wrap on the cover started peeling on the edges.

This book is a gem! I've stopped reading books for a while but this awsome piece of art managed to get me back to track. The content is pure and genuine true life! Love it!!!

Superb! I couldn’t put this book down until it was finished, both funny and heartbreaking. I could hear Trevor Noah’s voice and that of his mother reading the book, such was my absorption in the story, a remarkable rags to riches story, triumph over adversity. I learned, I laughed, and I was moved and inspired. What a book! What a life!!!

Tiene una gran capacidad de escritura como comediante, pero este libro fue realmente una sorpresa. El libro está muy bien escrito y ha puesto todo su corazón y sentimientos en el libro. I love Trevor Noah. Reading this book allowed me to have a glimpse at his childhood and growing up experiences. I thoroughly appreciate very page of this book that shows how one builds resiience one experience after another. Learning a bit of South African apartheid regime from a first hand experience was priceless. Incredible book. A must read!
