Has a clasp on the back. Gorgeous chain, and was really excited.... but I'll have to remove the clasp and make the chain a single piece before I can use it properly.Update: Removed the necessary pieces to make a single chain. Still not what I'd call even a day collar, but not bad. The design of the chain is fantastic but I'd prefer a thicker gauge and tidier ends on each loop, which I would happily have paid twice as much for.It'll get relegated to the box of costume jewelry, but it'll make her happy for a couple of weeks until I find something sturdy enough for daily wear.Definitely not fit for anything but a day collar.Update: originally gave this two stars, but the customer service was not only prompt but unexpected. Absolutely fantastic service, attention to detail, and thoroughly impressed with the seller enough to add two stars just for the people.If you think at all that you might like this product, I can guarantee you'll like working with the company if you have to.

My girlfriend loves this and wears it as her day collar. It has a nice and comfortable weight to it. She has recieved many comments and compliments. The contrast between the silver and black links looks better in person than in the photo. The locking heart is good quality and looks great.

I love the necklace... But the heart shaped lock fell apart while I was wearing it..luckily I was able to catch all the little parts that fell out. I'm sending it back and plan to reorder with hopes that the second one will hold up better and linger than 12 hours... If it doesn't it will go back and I will find something else completely.
