Hmmm. It's pretty and feels good quality... BUT. It is ALWAYS wrinkled...so the grips underneath don't really grip. Probably stop it fully sliding however..The texture isn't as I expected.. especially when it suggested it could be used for crafts too. I exoected it to be a more or a wipe clean plasticy finish. Which it isn't. This is more fabric-like with a waffle texture. The waffle texture makes it hard to wipe wet things off. So wet cereal for example mushes into the texture as u wipe and then leaves a mark. It is covered is smears and marks. Suspect it would come out in the wash, but for day to say it's actually harder work then cleaning the floor!I also hoped after the messy highchair stage this could graduate to be a new painting / craft mat, but I don't imagine it would be easy to clean glue or paint off it. Definitely need a plastic finish for it to be wipe clean.So...nice quality. But. Not sure its the solution I hoped it would be for under my 9 month old's high chair.

The mat is a good size, and appears to be durable with good anti-slip material underneath. However, it is not "wipe-clean". I assumed on the basis of the "wipe-clean" description that the top surface would be some sort of smooth, non-porous material (similar to a tarpaulin or plastic sheeting) -- it is however a woven polyester top layer, which is slightly porous and easily picks up marks and stains.While these marks can be removed by machine-washing (on a low heat), wiping it with a damp cloth and/or a surface spray is not enough -- indeed, this can often spread stains around as the porous surface soaks up some of the water. While this product may be fine for occasional use (e.g. for underneath a painting or messy-play surface), it is not really suitable as a splash-proof mat for underneath a highchair or dining table as it cannot be easily kept clean without machine washing.

I didn’t really know what to expect when I bought this mat. When it arrived I was surprised, such a lovely design. It’s a really nice size and good quality. It’s non slip on the bottom of the mat is fantastic, works really well. Because of the size of the mat it works really well for messy activities such as painting (see photo) as well as catching food when your baby is eating in the Highchair. It’s also easy to clean, I would recommend this product.

Very durable and waywrpriif however it needs a coating on the top of it that stops it from staining from foods like tomatoes and blueberries etc.Looks filthy and unsightly after one use.Even with alley wiping down during and afterwards. Can't get the colours off. Looks like it's 1 year old instead of 1 week!

I would definitely recommend this for food throwers and little picnics in the house, so easy to clean, it folds nicely into a bag which is great to store and keep out of the way, the pattern is so lovely and the grip on the bottom is great on all floors! Mine hasn't yet been stained and it's had many many foods mushed into it, there's always time but I'm confident if it's wiped up quick enough it will be fine.I will definitely be recommending this to family and friends.

We have a light coloured carpet that was slowly turning orange since our baby girl started eating. This is so easy to whip out under her high chair and we just let her eat, explore and enjoy without worrying about the mess. It’s easy to wipe but now and then we wash it in the machine and it looks good as new. We also used it as a picnic mat in the warmer days and it was soooo good as it didn’t let the moisture from the grass through. Overall a brilliant product at a great price and I would certainly recommend it.

I bought this mat for two reasons, great reviews and to save my floor. I use it under my granddaughters high chair and also as a mat for her to play on. Its excellent quality and does the job perfectly. After a couple of spillages from my granddaughters food, it has stained the mat slightly but overall I this this product is fantastic and would recommend.

Really good mat - I was fed up of cleaning the tiles after meal time so wanted something easier to clean. it has a very good back to it that grips tiled or wooden floors extremely well - it's almost sticky is the best way to explain it.Very easy to clean - I just take it out and hosepipe it, shake it off and bring it back in. Very good size too.
