This is a nice collection of stories, though I find some of them way more interesting than others. That being said, they all have BEAUTIFUL illustrations so sometimes I just talk to my two old daughter about the pictures rather than reading the story word for word. The best stories within this collection (if you're thinking of buying standalone) are "The Diggers" and "The Good Little Bad Little Pig."

I love the stories and illustrations, it would be a very nice gift. My daughter loves this, too.

My boys love this book. And as a parent it's pleasant to read over and over again, the rythym of the writing is relaxing too.
