So far, so good. We'll see.
As of my late 20s, I've been a chronic sufferer of UTIs. Contrary to what some doctors have wrongly assumed when I've ended up in their presences, I shower immediately after sex, I'm extremely particular about grooming and hygiene, I wear cotton, and I avoid known irritants, but some things are regrettably beyond environment. I do everything within my control, but for the last 5 years, I've gotten one that required medication approximately every 6-8 months. Antibiotics have been welcome godsends, but after a few rounds not too far apart from each other, I noticed that they adversely affected other things in my body. When I felt an infection coming on two days ago, I started researching and found this product. I'd never heard about D-Mannose before. In general, I avoid supplements. I especially avoid them when they purport to take the place of prescriptions or food and the only comprehensive information you can find is mostly on blogs that also give advice like why dental floss is a government conspiracy, but given the fact that over 90% of UTIs are caused by E-Coli and there's good science to support the role D-Mannose has in removing it from the bladder, it seemed worth the gamble. If you're reading this and you're in the camp I was in, please be wary of all of the anecdotal evidence (even mine!) one way or the other and err on the side of caution. Also, be aware that if you go with D-Mannose in any form, there's still a 10% chance that the bacteria causing your symptoms won't respond to this product. I read through all of the 1-2 star reviews and ultimately decided that I loved my gut biota enough to try something that might not work, but my symptoms were slower moving than they had been in the past. If it had been very severe, which is usually how my UTI symptoms tend to snowball from onset, I would have called my MD immediately. Anyway - it arrived last night at 8pm. I took a total of three doses over the course of 6 hours, and slept with the resolve that if it didn't seem significantly better when I woke up, I would drag myself to urgent care. When I woke up 7 hours later, the pain was almost entirely absent. No more stinging or feeling like I still had to pee constantly - just a little pressure, comparable to what it feels like after finally taking an antibiotic and Azo. Relative to what I've endured in the past, this is unheard of. I took an additional dose after about an hour of being awake and everything seems to be progressively clearing up without any irregularities. All I can say is, thank f***ing Cthulhu. Maybe it's a fluke, but I really hope not. I intend to keep this on hand to take as a precaution. So far, so good. We'll see.

Worth every penny
I bought these because I felt like I had a UTI, as I had burning while going to the bathroom. I took this for a few days and that went away. If I feel any burning, I just double up the dose.

This helps me!
When I either feel a UTI coming on or have one, if I start this right away it , first makes me feel better and usually I don't get a UTI. hope this helps someone else.

I'm not religious but THANK GOD
You never really know what you're getting into with these types of things. With the $30 price tag and the fact that the company seems to make many types of pills (and for the most random things lol), I was very skeptical. But I also thought, what would hurt? AND WOW??? This is an ABSOLUTE GAME CHANGER. I've had recurring UTI infections nearly all my life, most recently because of sex, but even when I was younger, anything and everything would give me an infection. Like everyone else, I'd run to the doctor after 2-3 days of taking AZOS pills and hoping it'd clear up on its own, to no avail. But, like everyone here, the process of making an appointment, getting the generic prescription for antibiotics, starting the 3-or-7 day treatment was tiring and drawn out--and after getting two back-to-back UTI infections, the second one 2 days after finishing a 7-day treatment, I decided to take matters into my own hands. The way these pills work is like this: for preventative care, you're supposed to take 2 a day with a glass of water and/or food. However, if you're like me, you'll get lazy after a while and forget to do that, which is more than okay. (Also, there are only 60 pills in the bottle, and at 2 per day, you're only getting a month's worth of pills.) If you don't take it as a preventative daily supplement, when you feel a UTI coming on (mine sneak up overnight so I'll start in the early morning), you MUST take 2 pills immediately, and wash them down with a lot of water. I usually add on an AZOS pain reliever pill if I'm feeling impatient. You can take an additional 2 pills at night if it's a severe UTI and you need faster relief, but the 2 pills in the morning (with the AZOS) is usually enough. By the next day, you should already start to feel the effects, i.e., even if you skip out on the AZOS, you'll start to notice that the pressure on your urethra has begun to fade. The longest I've felt the effects of a UTI after starting treatment with these pills is about 3-4 days. THAT'S RIGHT. You'll be healed in THREE TO FOUR days, and I've even felt the symptoms disappear after TWO. It's wild. For those of you who suffer from recurrent yeast infections as well (from having to take so many antibiotics for UTIs), I INSIST you buy these. I no longer even think about going to the doctor for regular ole UTIs, and with antibiotic resistance becoming a very real thing, we need to start looking for alternatives--at least for easily preventable infections such as these. Apart from its obvious benefits, having this bottle on hand gives you a piece of mind like no other. If there was one thing I had to complain about (and the one thing that would make me try an alternate brand), it's the price and the number of pills it comes with. I thought 60 was enough, but once I got to about half-way, I realized it wasn't. But, again, I'm someone who alternates between taking them daily for preventative care, to only using it when I feel a UTI has landed. 60 might be enough for you if you're going to be the latter!
