Old tech , but effective
Old neon technology but still very effective. One of the 4 lamps doesn't flicker too well but otherwise ok. The power rating is wrong - they consume half the power stated on the box. This is good because these are entirely decorative - don't expect much light from them.

Very flickery and dim
To be fair, they are described as ‘flicker’ bulbs. I imagined they would look like real candle flames - they DO NOT. For me, a candle flame is fairly steady and constant brightness, maybe the occasional movement only. These bulbs are dimmer than a candle, and constantly flicker more like a open fire does. I found them annoying out the corner of my eye and returned them. Come on manufacturers - a candle flame can’t be that hard to reproduce!

Flicker bulbs
They are far too dark not much light emitting and I had 3 in a ceiling light with no shades. They are atmospheric if you are wanting dark flicker lights. But too dark for my hallway.
