Billed as a romantic, millenial love story, I bought this to take my mind off . . . the world. It was so boring. The first page was great. The first chapter good. After that it degenerated into two nice people who were too afraid to say anything substantial. It felt like a Jane Austen novel on Quaaludes. Don't people just talk to each anymore? Does a love story have to be about trying to figure out what the other person and wants and trying to become that person? Elizabeth Bennet was constrained by her society as to what she could say, but she managed to communicate what she wanted just fine. What are you afraid of?

Very engaging cute romcom. Appreciated the diversity of characters in the story. Looking forward to reading the next books .
