Anyone else getting an odd smell coming from the break pads while riding this bike? Kind of similar to the smell of burnt hair?

Before use, and every 6 months or so, you need to lubricate the felt brake pads with a silicone lubricant, such as the WD-40 Specialist Silicone Lubricant. For some reason, this isn't mentioned in the manual. Note that this only applies to the felt brake pads on this bike; leather brake pads on some of the other models need to be lubricated with 3-in-1 oil.

What length inseams will this bike accommodate?

I'm 5'1" and while I can use the bike fine, I have everything set to the lowest size setting and it's still a bit of a stretch for me. I feel like if I were 2-3 inches taller it would be perfect. But I'm also realistic and I think there's probably not a bike out there that would fit me perfectly given my size since I have this problem with a lot of things in my life.

Does this bike has clip-in pedals?

I put clip pedals on this bike taken from my road bike and they work fine.

Is anybody else experiencing problems with the resistance setting? I am lacking the gradual resistance. It goes from easy to almost lock up even if I turn the nob in real slow small increments.

The manufacturer recommends removing the brake felt pads and roughing them up with a wire brush. I did this and sprayed them with silicone and replaced them. I also sprayed the felt pad under the adjustment knob with silicone which is easy to overlook. This has greatly improved the resistance setting.
