Drawings are very good. Challenging. It makes you focus and let your stress out. Daunting at first but never mind about the colors the artist originally made and just use your own color combination and it will be addictive.

My kids love it

The book includes beautiful nature drawings done by the artist of light Thomas Kinkade. It's two sided pages format, one page with the original drawing and the other page is line art. This is not your ordinary coloring book, it needs more developed coloring skills, If your aiming to imitate the illustrations. Even if you don't color in it, the original drawings can be taken and framed next to your bed or anywhere else.

Good but not for beginners

I had received the adult colouring book with a minor dent on the front cover. This is a good book with the lovely Kinkade's original colour painting pictures on the opposite page as an example or guide to copy for the right sided colouring pages. The drawing images are very detailed with fine quality papers but could be quite difficult and challenging for a beginner colorist though, as this is a book suitable more for the advanced colorists with experience. A great collection of the late Thomas Kinkade paintings with beautiful illustrations, printed in the U.S.A.

This is a delightful adult coloring book. Be warned that is is very detailed with some really small details. It will take a considerable time to complete a picture. There are plenty of pictures to color (63) with c full color photo of the original paining and the facing page has the drawing for you to color. The book includes a variety of scenes and seasons, buildings and landscapes. The paper is heavy weight to allow you to use markers or light watercolor. I use watercolor pencils and then wet it very lightly so the pages won't warp or curl. Pros: Gorgeous scenes to color Very challenging Very fun, soothing to do (like a jigsaw puzzle) Quality weight paper Great variety Cons: Would prefer the picture to be on a single side page instead of the back of a previous page Would prefer a lighter outline of the details instead of a black line that is hard to cover with light colors - like the sky for example If you like Kinkade paintings, you will enjoy this coloring book. I enjoy it very much. It is a great collection at an extremely reasonable price.
