This book is a treasure for all ages! I checked it out of my library and felt so much Joy and AWE seeing the unique expressive art work created by Victoria Topping. I needed my own copy! I love how Topping intertwined the symbolism of the greek mythological characters and their stories into her artistic interpretations. Especially for fellow artists that have may let their sweet hobby fall to the wayside as responsibilities in life became greater, this book will inspire and reignite your desire to create. For other creatives, especially those that love bold colors, keep this book on your coffee table to savor when your eyes crave beauty.

I bought it for my child who recently has developed an interest in mythology. The content is great but what really surprised me is the illustrations. It's one of the most beautifully illustrated books I've ever seen.Highly recommended, it would make a really nice special gift

Un livre d'art. Les illustrations pour chaque dieu ou héros sont magnifiques, les couleurs éclatantes. C'est un vrai beau livre, très grand format. Cela dit peu de pages et peu d'informations, c'est bien la patte artisitique de l'illustrateur qui prime plutôt que le contenu "scientifique", la mythologie n'est ici qu'une source d'inspiration, un prétexte... il n'empêche que je recommande ce bel ouvrage!
