I bought a 17 oz can in Sept 2019 for $6.99 why is it $15.99 for a 14 oz can?

This is because this is a different product then the $6.99 product. If you pay close attention to the can this product specified on the can that it repels water. Which means the water beads up on top of the carpet and does not soak up. The $6.99 can does not repel it merely lifts stains to make them easier to remove. And this particular can cannot be bought in stores. The $6.99 can is.
