Mic turns on with battery but it is not recognized by any device. I tried on my phone, laptop, dslr camera, and it is not recognized, and mic is not working. Really disappointed.

In a word it is simply a smooth sounding mic. It suits my needs perfectly. I don't think you can do much better than this mic at this price range

Mic came defective
The microphone came in a box that was not made by the manufacturer and it was defective. It kept producing a constant hissing noise when I try and record the audio
