Very happy with the Comica CVM-V30 LITE. Could be the best budget mic available!
what an absolute pleasant surprise. I was looking at getting the CVM-V30 microphone for some time, but when the CVM-V30 LITE was released I jumped all over it. The biggest thing for me was having a microphone that doesn't require batteries! I don't know how many times Ive left the mic on and killed the battery in my other microphones. Not possible with this mic! Plus it works on both your video camera/dslr as well as on your smart phone. Very awesome indeed. Did some audio recordings and this mic has performed very well. Very happy with my purchase.

Incredible value and unbelievable deal. You NEED one of these
To be honest, I was expecting an okay microphone that would be slightly better than the built in microphones on smartphones and DSLR's.What first blew me away was the shipping. ONE DAY!!! I ordered it at 3am on a Friday and received it on Saturday afternoon. Say what?!!! And WOW was I ever wrong about what I was expecting. The difference between the built in mics and this mic is night and day. The sound level gain and quality from the Comica lite microphone is phenomenal!! Very directional sound (which will eliminate or at least dramatically lesson background ambient sounds behind you and to the sides). Very good frequency range (does not sound tinny, no echos, no AM radio sounds. It covers bass to treble). If you're using a DSLR that has a built in audio/mic gain control, you may want to turn it down when using this mic. Yes, this mic is that loud, and shockingly, it's that loud and uses NO batteries! That to me is perfect. One less thing to worry about when you're out doing a recording. I'm still in shock at the price. The only other thing that would have blown me away outside of what I've already mentioned, is if they provided a clamp to use on a smart phone. If they did that, they'd have the 100% perfect package, no question.Make sure you have the rear selector switch set to the proper setting. Camera or Phone. If you mount this to a camera and the switch is still on phone, the mic won't work. Same with mounting it to a phone but the switch is still on camera mode, it won't work. I could go on all day about how good this mic is. Long story short, you will NOT find a better vlogging mic for the price, hands down.

Well, at least I learned
I purchased this to do some videos for a work event (where we did some pre-recorded videos to play at a town hall). The goal was just to get slightly better sound than the default iPhone mic. (The company's professional videographer was tied up with another exec event, so we had to shoe-string it).I was disappointed with the result and should have spent $20-40+ more for a better mic.The results were inconsistent.- video 1 - the speaker sounds fine, there was no excessive background noise. But we were in an enclosed test lab which was pretty quiet- video 2 - we were in a meeting room and the speaker sound was ok (no better than the iPhone mic). However, every few minutes I got a clicking/static sound on the video for an extended time. I was lucky I did a few takes and mixed up the video I shot, otherwise it would have been wasted footage- video 3 - in a more open area. The background noise was more evident. The same clicking/static sound happened again. Since I also did a few takes, I was lucky to recover (as I did speaker 2 and 3 back to back, and did not know about the sound issue until afterwards). The clicking sound 'may' have been from the cord not plugged in fully. However, I have not had that with other mics, so I don't know.Overall, the sound is probably better with your base iPhone mic. If you are using something that does not have a mic and need really cheap, you can try it. But check your video before you complete your shoot so you can ensure there is no audio issues.I would personally not buy again.

Before You Buy The V30 Lite Shotgun Microphone
I am a YouTube content creator and for me, sound quality is the most important thing when I am shooting videos. This shotgun microphone is an upgrade for me as I already own the VM10-K2 kit. Below are the five takeaways:- The microphone is versatile and adapts to phones or cameras with a very convenient switch at the back of the device- The super-cardioid pattern and low self-noise feature makes it perfect for podcasting, vlogging or, interviews- It is lightweight yet the material has a nice quality- The frequency range is wide enough to capture subtle sound details- The design is elegant and the price is very competitiveIn case you want to buy this mic for a cellphone, you should consider a microphone kit as well to complement your purchase. I would recommend this microphone for people doing podcasting, vlogging, content creators, interviews. It will definitely help you improve your sound quality big time. This gets my seal of approval!

Ingombro inutile
