Dr. Ph. Martin's Spectralite Liquid Acrylics is some of the most brilliant lightfast waterproof liquid acrylic available on the market. It so smooth that it flows like watercolor.Dr. Ph. Martin's Spectralite Liquid Acrylics are great for use with brushes, quill pens, spray bottles or atomizers. Review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spectacular Color Meets Superb Performance – Ideal for Custom Mediums - I purchased all four Spectralite Private Collection sets (Sets 1–4) to use in making custom stencil pastes—and they’ve exceeded my expectations in every way. Color Payoff: The pigmentation is exceptional. These are bold, luminous, and saturated right out of the bottle. Even when mixed with heavy gel or molding paste, the vibrancy holds strong. The colors stay true and don’t get muddy during blending. I especially appreciate the smooth gradient options between warm/cool tones across sets. Consistency & Flow: These paints behave like liquid watercolor, but dry to a permanent, satin-finish acrylic. That makes them perfect for applications like stencil work where layering is essential. They mix easily into both light and heavy-bodied mediums without separation or clumping. No strange textures, no unexpected reactivity—just smooth, consistent blends. Packaging & Usability: Each 1 oz glass dropper bottle is clean and convenient. I love the built-in palette under each bottle (an underrated feature that keeps my work surface tidy). The dropper lids make controlled mixing a breeze. I haven’t had issues with drying or leaking. Versatility: Whether you’re using them straight from the bottle with a brush or pen, or mixing into acrylic bases, these paints deliver. I’ve tested them on paper, canvas, and even wood panels—with and without gesso—and they hold beautifully. I also appreciate that they’re water-resistant when dry but not so plasticky that they resist sanding or layering. Minor Notes: Some of the metallics and fluorescents in Set 4 require a bit more shaking and aren’t quite as lightfast, but that’s to be expected with those pigments. Just keep UV exposure in mind if your work is archival. ⸻ Final Verdict: If you’re creating your own mediums—whether stencil paste, ink sprays, or gels—these are a dream to work with. Affordable, brilliantly pigmented, and versatile across styles and surfaces. Dr. Ph. Martin’s Spectralite sets have earned a permanent place in my studio. Review: Art work just for posters or cards also works for painting too especially abstract - Just lovely to work with as one would use water colours, ideal for card making or poster painting....good with brushes and mix well but with pens even better.....

Wollte Steine beschreiben...

amazing and vibrant
I have used other inks from dr. ph. martins before like the India inks and watercolor and loved them so I decided to get all 3 of the sets for acrylics and they are amazing they are vibrant and work just how I needed them to with my illustrations. sadly one of my bottles got damaged when I opened set 3 but I contacted dr. ph. martins customer service and they were amazing they sent me a whole new set with some mixing beads and pallets since I did have problems with the inks mixing with only 2 of the colors and they sent me 3 containers of the beads which I was very thankful for and it took care of the mixing problem. They gave me the pallets as a gift as well there customer service was beyond amazing. I highly recommend these sets as well as there others.
