I have used other probiotics and not really noticed a difference. Since this one is combined with some fiber I feel like my gut is quite happy when I take it regulary. I started taking it this summer, and I did notice I have been slimming down a bit. Turns out i’ve lost ~10 lbs. I don’t think it is only due to this because my meds, stress levels, and activity have all changed over the last year for the worse. It’s possible that i’ve just lost muscle mass since I haven’t been exercising as much. The reason I was interested in this specific probiotic was the possibility that it might help with weight management. So if anyone else was interested in that benefit I can only rate this a maybe. But for bowel movement & comfort this is 5 stars!

I'll start by saying that I am new to GOL products. I take A LOT of medications and if you can have something wrong with the gut, well that's me. I have Diverticulitis, Ulcerative Colitis, Gerd and IBS. All the things that make ya nauseous, constipated or the complete opposite, pain and cramping. It sucks to say the least. I've been taking stool softeners daily for almost 2 years and still battled with constipation most days so I decided to try a more natural approach. This doesn't smell great but has absolutely no flavor or texture. You just cannot add it to hot beverages. It likely kills all the active cultures. I've had this for just a week and I'll just say that I already can tell a big difference. Less bloating and definitely more regular. So much so that I'll go to every other day. As for value, I honestly can't say as all pro and prebiotics are friggin expensive but so far, I'm pretty happy with this and it's quite convenient in the individual pouches. If that changes, I'll update. I would recommend giving it a shot if you're having issues.

I've been taking probiotics for years with great success. Due to the company's manufacturing issues, I tried this. This contains slippery elm herb and I've known for years that this herb does not dissolve well in water. Thus, leaving a weird after taste. I mix it with a shot of water to take it in one gulp. Chase it with more water. The best part is that the slippery elm is a powerful ingredient in regulating the bowels. My homeopathic doctor had recommended it to me years ago and had since forgotten about it. This just made things better!
