pretty good!
Obviously it isn't going to be the best, but for the price it's very nice. At first they where a bit stiff but after a little while they loosened up, it came in a small plain box and came in perfect condition. Perfect for beginners and you get exactly what is described. Good product :)

amazing quality but not a real benchmade (don’t let that turn you off)
A really good trainer. One thing I noticed was the benchmade box and symbol on them. This is a fake symbol. I’ve bought other benchmade knives and the box is different as well as the symbol on the ‘blade’. On actual benchmade balisongs the symbol is different, confirmed by a quick google search. That aside this is fantastic quality and the false symbol/box should NOT be a turn of. Amazing value and high quality trainers. The screws are real and it moves very smoothly. The black was a little stiffer but will Olsen with time and use. Absolutely amazing starting trainer 11/10 would buy again

Great cheap way to find out if balisongs are your thing before spending real money
I picked up this 2-pack of balisong trainers to give one to my son as a stocking stuffer gift, and to goof around with the other one just to see if learning how to flip a butterfly knife was something I wanted to explore. I know that these aren't on par with the $50-$200 name brand ones, but they're still surprisingly well-made and functional, especially at the ~$6/each price point. You can't go wrong. Fellow newbies, fair warning: flipping a balisong like they do in the movies is a lot harder than it looks, but it's also totally addictive.

Good for practice, get something better later
I was looking to get a trainer for few years, but I always thought that it would be a waste of money, that I would just buy it and throw it in a corner. But after buying this set I have been playing around with it for a while and learned a handful of tricks already.I am in no way an expert, so I can't go into detail why or how, but I can tell you this much, they are stiff. They become stiff and sometimes it's difficult to open or close the knife. Luckily it goes away after few spins. The stiffness sometimes even helps with learning the tricks (in my case) yet, when you know you can do them easily, but the stiffness prevents you from doing it smoothly - fine by me, it's a cheap trainer, I don't expect a high quality screws or anything.Luckily I got two with this set, because the black one has a bent "blade". This makes it more difficult to do tricks with, because the blade gets stuck in the handles. Such a shame, as I was looking forward to the black one more. The silver one is a lot better, spins well (until the stiffness happens). The weight balance - I have no idea. I assume it's not the greatest, because it's just a trainer, but I never held more expensive one, it does the job, fine by me. If I will train myself on this one, I assume it will just be easier with a better one.In the end I would recommend to anyone who wants to start learning, but doesn't want to splash out on the expensive ones.
