Art of Persuasion: Winning Without Intimidation

Its a nice book i brought after a real video but it's nice to be read at least once

I found this book just great. Mr. Burg explains a plethora of techniques you can use to not only persuade people in your favour tactfully and genuinely, but the skills you can practice that he points out here can truly make the world a better place in my opinion.Going into this book I did not know what to expect, sadly it sat on my ‘to read’ pile for a couple months before I got to it, but once I did I realized many things. A) I already practice about a third of what this book teaches, which is perfectly alright with me, because even though I did many of these things, I didn’t have a full understanding of why. B) I have noticed in my day to day that many of the techniques he teaches here that were new to me I have already assimilated into my personality and day to day interactions. Making my days more positive and fulfilling than they were before. And C) My level of empathy genuinely increased and my understanding of light psychology increased as well.I am forever grateful to Mr. Burg for this book, and I am going to order some of the other books he referenced in this book as well. This was one of the most worthwhile books I have read in a long time. Thank you Bob Burg! You are a true gentlemen and a scholar!

Good book, it has some good stuff that can be useful at any stage of your life. I was expecting a bit more, but it’s not bad at all.

The writer writes in a very "American" style, i.e. he is VERY conversational and he tends to repeat the same points over and over in slightly different ways. I haven't finished it yet but I think the book could have been made even more compact with a good editor. One of the main lessons in the book is basically about creating the impression that you understand other people and their feelings.

This is such a great book !! Well worth buying, not downloading. Read a real book.
