HEALQU Island Dressing 6x6, Bordered Gauze Sterile Gauze Pads, 30 Count Box

I purchased these to treat a wound on my mom's lower back/upper buttocks. Basically, I keep the wound bandaged to provide protection against tender skin from getting abraded, and opening up. The 6 x 6 size is perfect to cover the wound, and the adhesive border is strong enough to stay adhered, but not so strong as to damage the skin when removed. She has a slight allergy to latex, so some bandage adhesives cause her skin to get red or blister. This product does not do that, at it appears to be latex free. The wound does not weep, so I can't comment on the ability of the bandage to absorb discharge. As the description states, the material, which feels cloth like, is water resistant. I can confirm this is true, and further add they are not waterproof, like the much more expensive silicone bandages are. My mom also has incontinence issues, so overnight if she soaks her disposable undergarments such that the bed pad she lays on is also soaked, the bandage also gets soaked, and the adhesive fails (where this does not happen with a significantly more expensive, like 10x more expensive, silicone bandage) and needs changed. But moderate wetting, that the undergarment can absorb, has no effect on the bandage; it remains dry as a bone and stays attached. Usually I can get 3 to 4 days between changes, so at about 60 cents per bandage, given the size, this is very reasonable. I'll definitely be reordering when our supply gets low.

hese HEALQU Island Dressings worked incredibly well for me after a recent arm surgery. The area of my arm is constantly moving throughout the day, and I struggled to find a dressing that would stay in place without peeling up at the edges. These did exactly what I needed them to do.The adhesive is strong enough to stay secure, even on a high-movement area, but gentle enough that removal wasn't painful. The sterile gauze pad is soft and comfortable against the skin, and the breathable design helped keep the area protected while healing. Each dressing is individually wrapped, making them convenient to keep in a first aid kit or take on the go. I also appreciated the water-resistant backing, which provided extra protection from everyday moisture.Pros:✔ Stayed securely in place on a constantly moving area of my arm✔ Soft, comfortable gauze pad✔ Strong adhesive without being overly harsh on skin✔ Sterile and individually wrapped✔ Water-resistant backing for added protection✔ Breathable design promotes comfortable healing✔ Great size for post-surgical wounds and larger cutsFinal Thoughts:After surgery, finding a dressing that actually stays put can be frustrating. These HEALQU Island Dressings exceeded my expectations and gave me one less thing to worry about during recovery. If you need reliable wound coverage that won't constantly shift or peel off, I highly recommend giving these a try.

Dressings stay in place and wick secretion to promote healing . I will purchase again when I need them

Perfect coverage for my wound.Size was just right and the adhesive border didn’t fail at all.

Just what I needed for my husband's post skin surgery bandaging. Has a gauze center with adhersive on all sides. Each bandage is wrapped to reduce risk of infection. This is working nicely for him and keeps the daily dressing application simple.

Given the reasonable price, these are pretty good bandages. I have paid a much higher price for other bandages that were a bit better, but these meet the need that I currently have. They adhere pretty well and are mostly easy to remove. I have dry skin, and two of the bandages out of the box of 30 stuck to the dry skin when I peeled it off, but overall, most removed easily. It provides good protection for minor wounds and rashes. It has a non-stick pad that actually doesn't stick. The large size is good for a larger wound. I like having tape and gauze in one, less materials to deal with.

I had surgery and needed to protect the incisions while taking a shower. It was easy to open the individual package of the gauze and super easy to apply to the incision and seal all around. After the shower found the incisions dry but the outer layer had retained water as in case of a sponge. Could not continue wearing it as its outer had lot of water retention. The product would be excellent if say it has some way to temporarily protect the outer layer from absorbing water while showering. Recommended for purchase. On the whole excellent product.

Exactly what was needed. Sticks very nicely. Was delivered quickly. Decent price.

Super!
