LEETOYI Porcelain Mortar and Pestle, Ceramic Herb Grinder Pill Crusher Set (4.6 inch)

I use this for grinding up larger fish food flakes into more of a powder, because my tetras refuse to eat any brand of micro pellets and will only eat very fine flakes. Large flake food (like Bug Bites for "large fish") seem to be much cheaper and found more in bulk than equivalent flakes for smaller fish, so I use this mortar & pestle to make them palatable for my smaller fish. Even my Pearl Gourami appreciates the finer flakes.

This mortar and pestle is PERFECT for crushing pills! My little fur baby is 13 and taking antibiotics for the rest of her short little life. Shoving a pill down her throat twice a day became a chore and she'd run and hide when it was time. Now, I put the crushed pill in a teaspoon, open her mouth and pour it in. Takes a second and she's not hiding anymore when it's pill time! This little mortar is only 3.3 inches in diameter so if you're looking for something bigger it's not for you. That's why I said it's perfect for pills. The price was right too! 🥰

This was a gift for a friend. It iscwhat she needed.

I was hoping for a smooth grinding surface to grind pills. It is difficult to get all of the pill material from the bowl.

This is a smaller version of an apothecary mortar. It fits in the palm of my hand. The dogs will not take pills willingly so I use it to crush meds for my dogs and hide in a slice of rolled up luncheon meat. The inside of the cup and the end of the pestle are not coated in the slick glaze leaving it slightly rougher which helps to hold the contents in the cup as you use the pestle to grind.

El triturador anterior estaba demasiado grande y ocupaba mucho espacio en mi cocina. Este esta del tamaño perfecto y cabe en cualquier cajon. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.
