It's glass, has a decorative protective cover, fits in a bike water bottle holder, and it doesn't taste like warm plastic. Highly recommend.

I love this bottle so much that I purchased more. I purchased other bottles first b/c of the bad reviews here....each bottle I purchased was returned and so I took the chance, ignored the negative reviews and bought this Contigo.....go glad I did, no more returns.My reason for purchasing was out of necessity. My job has mandated that no open drink bottles can be on the floor so it's a straw lid or no hydration. I only use glass bottles which is not easy to find with a straw lid. Let me be clear, I do not use straws, never in my life, I hate them....that being said, here is my review.First off, this does not leak at all. I use this daily at work. I have had it fall over in my bag and I have even laid it down in my bag, thrown the bag in my car, carry/move it all day at a physical job and zero leaks.2 - the flip straw has an impressive lock button so there is no chance of it popping open if you lock it.3 - there is also a button to flip the straw up so there is no need to touch the straw with your fingers, even when reclosing it (huge perk!)4 - the glass is thick and strong and so is the silicone protector sleeve. I have an incredibly physical job and this bottle is not babied.5 - it is ridiculously easy to clean6 - as far as making a lot of noise, it is just the very first sip and if you start it without a ridiculous amount of force, there is no noise....I have used this many times in meetings!7 - No leaching, I use fresh squeezed lemons, tinctures etc in my water so no leaching from stainless steel (which does that with certain ingredients) and no off gassing from plastic.....my drink stays pure.

Very good product. Value for money. But it has a straw, so preferably normal or cold water/drinks can be used with. Looks sturdy. Works fine so far. Got it for my 8 year old kid, hope it’s durable.

Excelente producto, me encanta esta marca en vasos y termos, el bloqueo es de muy buena calidad. El color me encantó y siempre me llegan antes del tiempo estimado. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.

I love this bottle. It looks great. It’s been dropped my my husband onto concrete and is still going strong. Come apart for simpler clean up but I don’t feel I can get it completely clean. I just drink water as I don’t want and squash to stain the spout as has been the case with my kids bottles from the same brand. Drinking more water can’t be a bad thing though!
