A very good quality socket as you would expect from the MK brand.I have purchased Mk sockets in the past which have been good quality but this is way more superior.It is finished in an off white colour, it is reflective and looks very impressive. There is an outer frame which clips out for installation and can be put back once installed to cover the screws giving it a clean finish.Pressing the on/off switch gives a nice firm ‘click’ sound. I will defo be purchasing some more of these in the future.Comes with screws. Product very well packaged to prevent scratches.See video for more info.

Overpriced
Product is good, basic to say at the least, but it doesn't quite match up to the high price...

Neat but expensive
We obtained this as one of our double socket outlets in the conservatory now has a problem – the switches have jammed on and need replacing. As expected, a quality product from MK - but this is a basic switch at a premium price. The connections Live, Neutral and Earth are clearly marked. You will need a backbox to fit this unit onto. There is a clip on outer frame which makes for neater painting / papering up to the switch. Not sure about the claimed 25year guarantee - impressive – our unit lasted some 15 years in the sun / heat

Nicer than the older hidden screw socket.
This is a more robust and attractive switch socket than its earlier version which in comparison was more flimsy and easily damaged model, both cover the fixing screws successfully for a smooth finish.The pattern for the wiring connection has been changed, and so swapping from previous MK sockets is a bit of a chore. Although no problem for a new fixing. I have included photo's of both versions. As can be seen, this newer model is slightly thicker from the wall, but forms a much neater attachment to the wall, covering slight deviations from flat, which the old version was incapable of covering. Anyway, I like this a lot better than the old one, although preservation of the old wiring pattern would have had a five star rating from me.JC

Screwless frame
I love the screwless frame feature, this is going to make decorating my house in the future SO much easier. Made from quality materials. Easy to fit. Looks GREAT what more could you ask for!
