Copper Fit Pro Series Knee Compression Sleeve

Got this because I started to have issues with my other knee. Due to stupidity I fell sideways but my foot was stuck and I bent my knee laterally. Yikes!! Went to ortopedic MD and scans shopped that I had no connective support for the outside of the knee cap and was scheduled for a knee replacement. Enter the age of cover and the surgery is off until there is a vaccine or treatment if I should get infected. Hence, I am trying to get around on a very unstable knee. I had another knee support but it was uncomfortable and by the end of the day my leg was really swollen and I had deep indents where the top band had dug into the swollen leg. So I decided to try a different brand to see if it worked better. I got the copper Fit Compression knee sleeve and the difference is profound!! My knee is so much better supported, my leg has not swollennear as much and I forget that I even have it on. It is as though there is nothing there, yet it provides MUCH superior support. At the end of the day my leg is better and muchless swollen. I am amazed that it works this well and yet is not bulky or as constricting as my previous knee sleeve. If you need a knee support, get this one!

So I purchased this item for my right knee due to pain I suffered when I was playing softball. I jammed my knee into the base while sliding and it hurt. After a few days of ice and anti inflamatories, I went to see the doctor and had some imaging done and was told i have some arthritis in the joint. Doc told me to get some therapy and a brace and see how that helps. I received this brace last week and it does a great job supporting the knee while I am wearing it and the pain does decrease but it is still there. This does not appear to be a curative feature for me and I really am not expecting it to do that. It is offering support and it is lessening my pain so that's the good part. I am giving this item a 4 because I am not sure if this item can only help me with the pain and support or would other braces to the same thing. Either way I have worn this for a week now. There is no copper smell from it. The Item itself does not have any body odor to it. But I am perplexed in the "copper tape" that one so prominently sees around the top and bottom of the knee. It feels like a tape, and I do not notice any other copper in the knee brace. The compression brace is a bit thicker then a nylon and has some stretch to it, so I am not sure how or where this copper is. I have yet to wash this brace but when i do it will be hand washed and hung to dry.

I'm an orthopedic mess. Played football and lacrosse in high school and college. Went to West Point and became an Airborne Ranger Infantry Officer. I just (2015) had both hips replaced; shattered an ankle in a parachute jump many years ago and that repair is starting to fail, and my knees are a mess from simple wear and tear. I'm 65 years old and starting to get arthritis in all of my joints, also. My left knee was really becoming THE principle source of pain, which is saying something. I looked for a support, not knowing which of them, if any, weren't snake oil. I selected the Copper Fit knee brace based on Amazon reviews. I put it on and immediately felt no pain when I walked - there are little support bands in the brace that hold the patella (knee cap) in place. This has made all the difference for me. I have no pain while walking - I don't "work out" per se, as I have all these other things going on, but this sure stops the pain and lets me walk distances without discomfort. I'm going to purchase another one now so I have one available when my current one is in the wash. Oh, and it's comfortable! (probably a little too constrictive to wear while sleeping, in my opinion)

Love it, works great, till the supportive strips start delaminating, then it's just a sleeve to keep your knee warm. I've had 4, two for each knee and all but one have already delaminated.

These were recommended by my physical therapist after a mild work-related tear of an interior mediocollateral ligament. They're a step down from what I started with, and they're what I now wear for daily use. My knees feel so much better when I'm wearing them all the time except for bathing and sleeping.I echo the other reviews I've read that say that once you have the measurement you need, go UP ONE SIZE. Then the fit will be more likely to work.The therapy's helping a lot, of course, but my knees and I are both 52, and the knees are now a lot happier. I would absolutely buy these again and recommend them to anyone. I'm an ordained minister and work as a nursing-home chaplain. That means I routinely rack up 14,000 steps per work day and do my share of using my knees to make sure I'm not looming over people who are in a wheelchair. Wearing the sleeves makes it much easier, and I feel better when not at work too.

I really wanted to believe in this product after all the good reviews it had. My problem is that the sleeve did not stay in the position it was supposed to be in. The top would always slip down to my knee even with basic walking. I had the correct size and even tried the size down, but the same thing would happen. I missed my return window by 4 days, so now I’m stuck with it. I recommend finding something else if you want true support.

I received My copper compression sleeve Today. I immediately put them On Because I was still Having knee pain and swelling In both Knees From surgery I had about 7 and a 1/2 weeks ago. I had total knee replacements On both knees At the same time. It was about 20 to 30 minutes after I put them on I started Noticing less pain. I also noticed I ahead a lot more support in my knees while moving around. I would recommend this to Everyone that is Having issue With their knees. I honestly Did not expect them to work as Well as they have. Haven't found any issues with them so far. I would definitely buy them again (5 stars)*****

I've had various compression sleeves for my knees. So just putting my personal opinion here, this one seems cheap, it's abit loose, I needed to have a tighter fit.. I gave it a two for that reason. For range of motion it's a four because it's loose. Not so great in my opinion.
