I was thinking I was looking more haggard lately. I’ve been re-focusing on skincare again. I used a few products religiously for a few weeks. Looked the same. Then, I remembered that this was my favorite mask a few years ago. I couldn’t find it stores anymore and ordered through here. I left it on for 10 mins and rinsed it off. Looked in the mirror and did a triple take. I couldn’t believe I looked 5-10 years younger. I’m so glad I thought to use this mask again. My dark shadows seems to have disappeared and I look more youthful and vibrant. My esthetician introduced me to papaya enzyme-based masks but the one she used was over $40. This one is way more affordable!UPDATE: Please only use for 5 mins as recommended. 10 minutes ended up breaking me out. Still a fantastic product!

I have used Alba products for years and have had no issues. I, however, had an EXTREME allergic reaction to this facial mask. I do have sensitive skin but I have never had a reaction like that. A day or two after using the facial mask I began noticing itchy, red welts on my lower face... then my entire face began swelling. After 48 hours from the time the reaction started I had to go to urgent care to get a steroid injection and prescription for Prednisone and antibiotics. My face was so swollen my own family wouldn't have recognized me, there was welts and blisters over the entire surface of my face, and it burned and itched unlike anything I have ever experienced.If you purchase this Papaya Enzyme Facial Mask, PLEASE do a test on you inner arm a few days before!!!

I have very oily skin, not sensitive at all. Actually I have the polar opposite of sensitive skin and This mask can still burn like a mf so please be careful. However this has instantly taken the edge off very dark pimple scarring. Over long term it totally fades discoloration but after 1 use I saw a marked difference

I had read about these enzyme facial masks and decided to try one. My complexion is much better if I use something to exfoliate the dead skin (usually once a week). I read that so many of these products could cause redness and irritation. I had used products in the past that had the grains or "scrubbers" in them and they always left my skin feeling like I had washed with sandpaper. This is an amazingly mild product and has not irritated my skin yet. I also rinse it off after 5 minutes on the skin (rinse thoroughly with cool water to remove all traces). Then I use a soft microfiber face cloth to gently massage my face. This helps to remove any loosed pieces of dry skin. Then I follow up with a good moisturizer or my favorite essential oil mix. I only use it before going to bed and my skin is glowing in the morning. I get occasional breakouts and have found that this seems to be keeping the frequency of breakouts down and my face is softer.

I really enjoy using this peel/mask. I tend to get a little bit of flakiness from using retin-a and when I do, I use this and it smooths my skin right up. Love that is is cruelty free and organic!
