False advertising: no mention of the Titanic
I ordered this because it said it was a model of the Titanic. It was to be an educational but fun present for my grandson. I even bought separately a copy of the Daily Mirror on the day after it sank. Couldn’t believe it when I saw that there is no mention of the Titanic anywhere on the box. It just says Cruise Ship and could be any old ship. I really think Amazon should take the advert down in its present firm as it is totally misleading

Great for the price!
I bought this for my partner last Christmas (2020) and we finally got around to building it this Christmas 🤦🏽♀️. It's not lego so if you are particularly fussy pay the extra money and get the branded set but to be honest I couldn't tell the difference. You do have to sort the pieces out yourself unlike the lego sets but I think it's part of the fun. All the blocks were there and including the lights, the stand and a few spares. The instructions were clear and we found them pretty easy to follow. We were missing the 'TITANIC' name stickers but gained a Captain America 😆 (after an email to the seller stickers are now being sent out)All in all I would recommend buying this. It was a great way to spend a couple of hours.

NOT what I expected. Disappointed
Very probmatic front end of the titanic pops off everytime pressure is added to build the upper decks. After nearly 7 hours resorted to superglue just to hold the section missing in the picture together. Doesn't matter what you do or how you do it that end does not hold. The bags are all jumbled up and not numbered. You have to open more or less all the bags just to get the first layer started.Pictures in the book are not very clear and small. I've sat and built up proper lego with numbered bags and clearer instructions and had no issue what so ever. And they have also been more enjoyable. Of you want a headache this build is for you....!I wouldn't recommend this product to a child under the age of probably 15 due to all the tiny parts and the fact its so fiddley. This is definitely a build more adults I've had issues and as mentioned above had to resort to superglue to hold the front part of the ship in place as there is nothing between the layers to hold it all together to give it it sturdiness it needs as you build. If I had known all the issues I wouldn't have spent £50 on this.Gutted is an understatement 😫Instruction book needs to be clearer better with step by step numbers. The bags also need to be step by step packed to make it easier so you don't have to open all of the bags in one go.

Brilliant instructions almost on par with Lego the brand
Look I won’t like after being bullied into buy it by my son I didn’t look at it or read to much into other than the price and then the size of it.After buying for same day delivery as I promised it would be here for when he woke up (like an amazing dad) I looked at it properly and to my shock it was a lego style build it yourself modelIt was arriving before 10pm I had to be up for work by 4am …I’m sat there thinking great it’s gonna be rubbish instructions rubbish quality and I’m not gonna get any sleep as like a great dad I promised it would be doneIt arrived at 8pm I see for the first time the size of the box little in the small side for the amount of bits …brilliant it’s not all there or someone was being generous with a tape measure (all us men have been there at some point)I open the box it’s several unnumbered see thur bags brilliant it’s got a lot of large bits and small bits I’m thinking possibly 1am completed with with several retry’sI make a brew come up with a battle planOpen all the bags separate all blocks into colours then with in the colours the same size bits 2x3 dots 3x3 dots etcI make another brew I pick up the instructions manual I take a deep breath and put it down dazed by all the bits laying around me thinking to myself why just why did I do this to myself should I put it away a let mum deal with they complaining about itI drink my brew I look up at the picture of my smiling son a remember for the 10 seconds of happiness it brings him regardless of how long or bad the experience is I’ll do it.It’s 8:45pm I open instructions praying that the end comes fast for me ….to my disbelief the instructions are almost on par with Legos the brand I completed the build by midnight with only one mistake but that was due to me being tired and miscounted the number of dots on one bitI would 100% buy it again or another set from them

THIS IS NOT LEGO! so the finer detail on the ships bow and stern do not join easily
We read the reviews and they were very good at £50 I didnt think it would be a sub standard product, but we found that as the layers went up, the bow and the stern would crumble away under the pressure of joining the bricks. We had to resort to using super glue. The finished product looks nice but we found it problamatic and certainly wouldnt have bought it had we known, I would look for buying genuine lego in future.
