Vet's Best Mosquito Repellent Spray for Dogs & Cats, Safe Ingredients, 8 oz

It’s Amazing and the best part besides no harmful ingredients is……. My dogs stinky body smell disappears . Now I use it as a deodorizer for him. It does keep the bugs away but the best part is it eliminates dogs stinky body smell!!! I’ve used all the name brand dog shampoos and deodorizers but this stuff is instant stink remover and I wish I could give it 100 stars.

This works amazingly well. In the summer in Texas, the mosquitoes come in clouds. This kept my dogs mosquito free, they never came close. There's no odor or residue. Would recommend.

I have a dog with a lighter coat, and he's always getting swarmed by mosquitos, horse flies, etc. This stuff is not perfect, but it definitely reduces the number of things attacking him. Seems to do better against mosquitoes than horse flies. He doesn't like the spray bottle, but I just spray it in my hand and rub it on him, and he doesn't mind that, so I don't think he's bothered by the scent/feel of it. I've even put it on myself when I didn't have stronger human-grade stuff handy, and the smell is much nicer than your average repellent, which makes sense since it's made from oils and not chemicals.

2nd Update- back to 3 stars, after using the replacement- Probably once or twice, the same thing now happen again and the sprayer does not want to come back up after you push it down... Basically making it useless unless I buy a separate empty spray bottle to dump the product in, so it can be sprayed. Updated : I went to return it and they immediatly (next day) sent me a new one and the sprayer works fine on the replacement. yay (see updated above)This might be a good product, but the sprayer does not work no more she's pumping a 1000 times making it almost useful without much effort you get 1/4 of a square after 20 pumps. Seems like other people also have the same issue

I use this on my dog and even myself. It smells amazing and works for the most part.

We’ve been having a pretty bad mosquito problem. I was searching for something that was safe for the dogs and a friend recommended this. I was skeptical at first, but it seems to be helping. Nights when I forget to spray myself, I get bit all over and it’s so itchy. I don’t get bit when I use this spray. I also use it on my dogs because I worry about heart worm. The dogs don’t mind it at all and it seems to be keeping the mosquitos off of them as well. Highly recommend this spray!

Super great product my girl gets eaten up by mosquitoes everything she goes outside and when I spray her down with vets best mosquito spray now she's not the appetizer witch is a 2 thumbs up I've bought 2 from Wal-Mart but they're out and I found it her on Amazon and I bought 3 bottles to stay stocked up thank vets best for an amazing product for dogs &i never thought they made for a dog I'M SOOO VERY SUPER HAPPY WITH THIS PRODUCT

We are dealing with a lot of mosquitos currently, so this product was a must for us. Our dog isn't crazy about us applying this every early morning and later in the day. He'll start rubbing against his bed. The smell IS strong, so what we do is spray it on a paper towel, then lightly rub each paw, a little on his tummy, top of head and across his back. It seems to be helping.

Ingredients include Citronella, highly toxic to cats but recommended for cats?? Having hunted for a SAFE mosquito repellant that I could use as we have pets I discovered this and assumed it would be safe as it made for the use ON dogs and cats, however on reading through the ingredients it contains Citronella, all my research shows that Citronella is highly toxic to cats and this is borne out by many research papers to show this, so how can this be sold for this purpose?

Repele mosquitos!

Me and my daughter attract mosquitos like crazy,this product was not very effective to be homest,i poured my self and her with the solution yet we got some bites.

I used this on myself and my dog last night, and I have been bitten to pieces precisely where I sprayed myself (mostly on the back of the neck and stomach!) My poor dog has also been scratching all night. Don't bother with this. Absolute waste of money! If I could give it a 0 rating, I would!
