Well made in all aspects. The size is great for a dessert plate. Bigger than a saucer so it's not like a teacup saucer situation. More like a cup of hot beverage with a big slice of yumcious goodness. I like that the plates have about an inch or so dept to them so liquids can't easily escape. The colors are vibrant but not overpowering. They're just beautiful and being dishwasher safe is an added bonus. I purchased the cups on Amazon.ca because that's my area. However, I had to jump on Amazon. Com to purchase the matching dessert plates because the price on .ca was outrageously more than .com. for example, I purchased the plates here and paid shipping, plus border tax and still paid a less than if purchased in Canada. These dishes were so worth it. And I'd do it again! Absolutely no complaints. Already purchased another set of the mugs which by the way are not microwave safe. But they shouldn't be anyway. Simply put, beautiful, high quality dishes from a fantastic company who knows what we want. And the box they were packaged in is just right for gifting. Even the packaging was paid much attention to when came to quality. Very, very pleased with this purchase.

Oh my God! This dishes is perfect for my tea party!! They packed it so well which is really awesome.
