Good for carrying a 500ml bottle of water at a festival or on a camping trip. Robust, and stays up well. The only criticism is that it has a tendency to slide towards the back of the thigh when walking a longer distance with a full water bottle. The bottle itself stays secure inside the holster.

Too small to hold a decent water bottle unfortunately

I'm not sure what size of bottle it was indicated for, as there is no recommended bottle, but was way too small for mine, i thought it'd be bigger judging from the picture.

Very useful for dog walking where over the shoulder bottle holders tend to attack your dog when you bend over to hook the lead on! Have bought another one for my son who is a kandscape gardener.

It's a good idea until you realise if you add something with weight on the side of your leg, it will pull down your belt and swing when you walk
