Is this lactose free?

No!!! I purchase Augason for quality food. Lactose free??? Someone actually shreds cardboard and paints it yellow?

How long does it last once it's opened

One our items are open (If they remain stored in a cool dry area and NOT reconstituted with water) they should last up to 1 year. Once opened and reconstituted, normal cheese storage times should be maintained.

How much product is in this can?

This is a gallon can . It was full to within 1-1 1/2 inches from the top. Unless you eat cheese sauce on everything this can should last to a couple of months once opened

Can this be repacked into Mylar Bags w/Ocygen absorbers to extend shelf life once the can has been opened?

I see no reason why not. However; I have no plans to open or use it. This is a long-term storage product for me. Check with Company as to best way to store after opening. I use the other cheese products in the can (cheddar and Mozzarella). They are delicious in what ever I use them in. After opening These products I put remainder in airtight containers. Always fresh and tasty.
