Good paddle for the price!! It should hold up with use from a kid. I bought this for my 10 year old daughter. The paddle is surprisingly light. Good adjustment range for juniors.The adjustment ring seems solid and holds well.Note: This paddle does not have typical full blade angle of other SUP paddles. It has a curved end instead. Should be good for my daughter though.

I ordered this basic stand up paddle so my son could use it for stand up paddle boarding. The price was great so I thought I would try it. It arrived quickly but I noticed that the plastic ring that is used to adjust the paddle length was broken! I ordered a replacement, which arrived quickly once again thanks to Amazon. When the replacement paddle arrived, it has the same problem - the ring for adjusting the paddle was broken! My experience with Amazon was great, but the manufacturer of this paddle has some QC issues!

Its OK for the size. My kids use it a lot and seem to manage it just fine. I broke it from slamming it on the water, but was able to epoxy it back together and it works just fine again.

The handle was broken when we first went to use this. My husband thinks he can use his west system to glue it back on rather than go through the hassle of having to send it back for a new one. Terrible quality control but would be a great product if it hadn't arrived broken.

Read all the reviews and you will see a pattern here.Not a bad paddle but like the other reviewers to date, ours came damaged.The damage appears to be part of the manufacture process and not delivery damage.Other better choices out there that may cost a little more but are worth it.
