Will this fit my 2004 honda civic ex and how much of an hp increase can I expect?

I don't know your skill level, so I'll give the answer with some detail.You can MAKE it fit.But it will take some work brother.-The firewall will need cut. The ports are longer, wider, and the main channel is massive. With the way your engine bay is set up you'll need about two extra inches.- you'll need to do some extension on the wiring for all the sensors, and extend and re route some of your vacuum lines.- the water main will be a tight fit, so you will need to do some skillful light grinding and shaving to be able to get it back on.-the gains vary depending on your set up, because this is a supporting modification. On a D17 you would probably see a solid 15hp just by itself, the main thing you will get is an increased throttle response.It's a lot of work, but if you are serious about pursuing a good complete D17 build and throwing a lot more onto it this is a good start, just know the motor doesn't have a huge market out there and that just like this part you will be doing a lot of retrofitting, fabrication, and having completely custom parts made.Good thing about this, is that any additional fuel, intake, head, or exhaust upgrades you do will help you get more out of this intake (you'll see larger power gains than you would without it)Good luck, and if you can fund the project, a decent D17 build is rare so you will be set apart from the crowd!

I’ve read fabrication is needed to make this fit. Is this true on a d16y8?

Mainly to the firewall and the brake lines on the 96-00 chassis it will rub. Brake lines will need to be relocated.

Will this fit a 2003 Civic LX with D17A1 engine?

What size is the opening on the intake? I need it to be 70mm for the alpha series throttle body. So i need the size please

I don't know the opening size bur I have this intake and the 70 mm alpha tb. So it will work together. Also the comp cam 59300 is a good cam with that intake and tb.
