Q: I received mine but the surfaces are not entirely smooth and rough in some areas. Is this common? Given many areas are smooth is mine bad?

I don't think it's bad, sweetie, just needs a little love. Go to your local grocery store, in the laxative aisle, of all places, and get some mineral oil. Soak it really well on all sides overnight, and it will be great! You can always spend $8-10 on butcher oil, but mineral oil has worked great for me. I really do love my acacia cutting board. Poor product

I received damaged price. Definitely it can’t be used as cutting board because the board itself is cut into many pieces.

Wrong measures

Bamboo made from Thailand,I specifically bought it for the dimension which stated 35.6 x 35.6 x 3.2 inches in reality is 14x14x1.5 inches...very disappointed
