LOVE the base game and the expansion is so worth it with more beautiful birds to admire and learn about as you enjoy playing the game endless times.

Adds extra birds to the game~ buy this after you've bought and played the base game and the Oceania expansion a number of times. Overall Wingspan is one of my favourite games so i would recommend this expansion to see more cute birdies

Amplia muy bien el juego base, lo suficiente para sentirse diferente con las nuevas cartas de ave y los nuevos objetivos de fin de ronda. Aunque es algo complejo notar las nuevas cartas durante las primeras partidas. Lo recomiendo si ya se la han dado bastantes partidas al juego base.

I see this expansion as a "must" because it greatly improves the base game, completely revitalizing the engine-building strategy. In terms of complexity and strategy, the addition of nectar as a wild resource and the redesigned player mats make the game feel much more fluid. It smooths out the early-game resource bottleneck without making the choices feel watered down. The gameplay feels rebalanced, especially since the new end-of-round goals and bird cards offer much more viable alternative paths to victory beyond just spamming eggs in the final round. The instructions are crystal clear and easy to digest, making the new mechanics seamless to integrate right out of the box. There is virtually no extra assembly required; you just shuffle the high-quality cards into your deck and swap out the dice and player mats. Speaking of components, the appearance and overall quality of the box, pieces, and cards are top-notch, perfectly matching the beautiful aesthetic of the original game. Whether you are playing solo or with a full group of five, it scales perfectly and keeps the playing time right in that sweet spot of 40–70 minutes. If you love Wingspan, once you play with this expansion you wont want to go back

Excellent expansion. The nectar changes the game play significantly, and end of game cards can turn the tables around without your opponents knowing your final move!
