Add a Cover/Lid to this product!
This is a nice quality product. The sand is a great color and good texture. The wood is very sturdy and of higher quality. However what genius made this product without a proper cover? No lid or anything.

Comes with sand, not junky
I was actually wildly hesitant to buy this for some reason but I’m glad I did. It’s sturdy, seems well made, comes with a stylus, “eraser” AND sand. I wasn’t clear if it came with sand or not, but mine did. My daughter likes practicing her letters in the tray, and I like helping her (doodling in the fine yellow sand is weirdly zen.) The “eraser” was a huge selling point for me because I thought erasing by hand might turn it into a sand play tray. All in all great buy if you’re teaching letters, and especially if you’re doing it the Montessori way.

A great tool to help w/ writing skills
A lovely set to help your kids advance their prewriting and writing skills.All three three of the pieces in the set seem sturdy and well made.Comes with more than enough sand as well.All of my kids like playing with it (1,3,8)

Needs Better Sand Collection
Needs better way to keep sand inside. My preschooler keeps scraping sand out of this and it gets everywhere and is hard to collect back into tray.

My grandson really likes it; he is getting better at printing his letters. It’s a good tool to help with learning.
