Nylon Review: Good summer mountain bag for backpacking - I used it this weekend in the Alpine Wilderness here in the PNW and it served me well. Aside from a worry about the zipper construction (nothing is worse than a stuck zipper after a long day of backpacking) I think this bag will serve me well for summer backpacking. It's as light and small as many bags costing two or even three times more and comes with a well made compression sack. The bag kept me plenty warm in the 50 degree night and the fabric is nice and soft to sleep on without being itchy. The only reason I'm taking a star off is because the zipper seems a little under engineered. It's a bit stiff to zip and I'm a little worried some night I'll yank it too hard and it will break. That said, nice bag, incredible what you can get these days for the price. Review: ... time this past weekend in Maine and had a fantastic experience. I'm 5'10" with broad shoulders and I will say that it is a bit snug but I slept just fine. If your sleeping on the ground you will want a pad since (due to the light weight) there is very little padding. Also our dog Sedona, whose first time it was camping, decided to pee on my girlfriends sleeping bag (note that when offered the option she preferred to pee on the Coleman brand cotton sleeping bag opposed to the Aektiv,) and when we tried to fit two in my sleeping bag (my girlfriend is 5'3" and super small,) it wasn't happening. To recap: Because this sleeping bag doesn't open up to full blanket mode it is not conducive for sharing nor does it offer much padding. However, when offered the option dogs seem to prefer peeing on cotton and for one person it will keep you snug.

Meh- Not Great
After reading so many great reviews I was so excited to get this bag. This sleeping bag is very compact and was easy to pack in my backpack. However, I'm disappointed that after one night of light use I notice the seams are beginning to look frayed and coming undone. I'm not a big person (only 5ft tall), not sure what the cause of this would be other than it being cheaply made. While it kept me warm I don't see this bag lasting very long before I have to purchase a new one.

BE AWARE, HORRIBLE ZIPPER DESIGN!!!
Do not buy this product, it has the worst zipper ever. The zipper broke while I gently zipped up sleeping bag as normal. Also can not get any response back form DL Products or Aektiv about resolving the problem. Went on Aektiv website and numbers listed does not work. Very unprofessional business. Amazon was very kind to honor a full refund.

Pretty Good
This bag is reflective of the price and sells as advertised. I used this bag for 2 nights on a backpacking trip through Death Valley in late March and was comfortable but a bit on the chilly side. The good: It is very light and compact, easy to roll up and put back in it's compression bag which I appreciate. It is warm enough for Spring/Summer in California in the desert. Zipper is good. The company also contacted me after purchase which I thought was good customer service. The bad: Unfortunately, after only one use on the first night there is already a tear in the seam. And, even though I paid $15 for express shipping on this bag, the package arrived a day later even though it was marked as delivered. Would I buy it again? Yes, for now this works well given budget restraints.

Great bag for the budget-minded hiker!
This is a good bag at a good price. If you are starting or returning to hiking and can't spend too much, this bag works well. While I would prefer a center zipper, this bag kept me warm down to freezing. Packed tight - is relatively light. Great bag for the budget-minded hiker!

It was about 40 -45 degrees at night and surely did not meet a warm standard. I even had a liner in. It was a cold night to say the least.
