Great!
It was a present for a 12 year old girl who is into fashion. She loved it and she says it’s very easy to use with good examples and explanations to how to draw. She also loves that there are different kind of body shapes and people. We definitely recommend it.

Excellent and very inclusive!
Was so happy to find this inclusive design book for a budding clothing designers! Book has visuals and information about inclusive design for all bodies, sizes, abilities, genders, etc. Includes visual representation (illustrations) of people who are BIPOC, people in wheelchairs/with canes, sizes XXXXL TO XS, non-binary gender and other design considerations.

Fun Book, But I Think Having The First One As Companion Better Way To Go
I am an artist. I have a daughter who also is an artist. We both love to design clothing. I have been doing it most of my life. I am always interested in learning from others who draw their designs. There is always something you can pick up. Let's take a look at this book both from an artist's and beginner's perspective.LAYOUT OF THE BOOKThis book is laid out very well. Each section is marked well and you can thumb through the book without having to read each page. It is very visual for those who learn best by seeing illustrations.SECTIONSThis book has a nice section for tools, figure drawing, adapting for special needs, and then working through different design types and how to lay them out.WHAT IS THIS BOOK'S FOCUS?After reading through this book, I honestly feel personally that I would prefer to have both the first book in this series by the author AND this book as a workshop using what is learned in the first book. I ordered it but it has not come yet. I am speaking as someone thinking about when I first started out as an artist and needed more instruction.IS THIS EASY TO USE?As a unit in itself, this book is easy to use and if you happen to be a highly motivated individual with a lot of spare time and energy (my daughter is like that) this book would be a piece of cake to jump start you off into new directions of fashion design. For those who take longer to learn, there is a lot in here to help, but basic instructions would probably be best attained through the first book by the same author and this one in tandem.THE BOTTOM LINEThis book is well laid out for visual learners. There are many good illustrations, both of tools and how to draw. There is good organization. I find that this book is good to motivate drawing for those who really want to explore this direction in fashion design.MY RATINGFOUR STARS. I don't think that this has a lot of basic information in it for those who really need to be shown how to walk step by step through a concept to learn it. If you are already an artist who just needs inspiration, then this book would probably be a five stars for you.If you are just starting out, I highly suggest getting the first book first by the author and then seeing if this is what you want to follow up with.
