Making good boots great!
Have an awesome pair of boots I’ve been breaking in for an upcoming safari in Zimbabwe. Unfortunately, the one boot was creating a small pinch point. I was rather bummed, as other than that, I loved the boots. I happened upon this product, and figured I had nothing to lose. I am a leather worker, and have trusted Fiebing’s other products for years. The Stretch-It Spray now ranks amongst those trusted products. Use is easy. I applied this liberally to the interior and exterior of the boot and wore it with a thick pair of socks. Wearing until dry, and repeated the process several times. Boots now fit like a glove. Thank you for offering a product that salvaged my boots! I’d written them off, but now have a new favorite pair. I saved the money of buying a replacement (good boots aren’t cheap!), and also the time of breaking them in. Also, when putting mile after mile on your feet in remote areas, comfort cannot be overlooked. The value of this product is incredible when taking these factors into account.

Good Price Helpful product
The calves of my 13" high western boots were a bit too tight at the boot top. I also like to wear my pants down inside my boots at times and the spray relaxed the leather till I was able to do that and did not stain the fabric of my pants just as advertised. Great product, Thank You Fiebings and Amazon!

Works well, but pricey for what it is.
I usually research anything I buy, even small items like this. However, I was ordering some shoe stretchers and this seemed like a good accessory from a respected manufacturer, so I bought it on impulse. Only later did I learn that most, if not all, of these products are merely alcohol and water. (The scent is a pretty good giveaway.) So basically one pays a premium price for the convenience of having the solution premixed in a handy spray bottle. The product works as it should, so it's worth buying if one doesn't mind the price. I'll probably make my own refills though.

This WORKS, buy it now! For real, it works.
This stuff works. I was skeptical, but for the low price and the awesome reviews I thought it was worth a try. I had a pair of leather but cheapo booties I got in London (SO cute) that were just way too tight, and a pair of Dansko Savannahs, which I bought in my regular Dansko size, but were way too tight. I used this stretch spray, and, amazingly, I can now wear my booties and Danskos. Granted, I did have to apply several applications, over a period of several hours of wearing each -- what you do is spray the shoe while wearing them, and wear them around the house with thick socks, spray again, wear them, sitting or walking around, or both, spray again, etc. Do this until they are comfortable. It will work. I promise you, and this is a real review! I did hear that you can make your own spray using half rubbing alcohol and half water. I was going to do this, but was too lazy; however, if you want, go ahead and try this -- clearly, the spray is mostly alcohol, I can tell by the smell. But just in case there is some other important ingredient in it, I bought this spray. NO damage to the leather of my white boots or my black Danskos -- the leather looks exactly the same, exactly the same texture and shine as before I sprayed them. The only difference is that I can wear my shoes now with complete comfort. Yay!!

Great old brand, still the best
For professions that require leather footwear and being on your feet all day, this enables you to break in new shoes on the job instead of wearing them for a brief period over several days. For a letter carrier or construction worker, that can be a lifesaver. New boots should come with a bottle.

Worked wonders on 2 pairs of Allen Edmonds
I recently bought 2 pairs of Allen Edmonds leather men's shoes - one Strand and one McAllister. Both pairs fit great overall, but were too narrow in just one spot on the side of my small toe. It got to the point that it genuinely hurt to wear the shoes and I was contemplating cutting my losses and selling them on eBay. However, I thought about options for shoe stretching and came across Shoe Stretch. I saw the good reviews and figured it was worth an inexpensive gamble. Happy to say this stuff was miraculous! I don't have a special widening shoe-stretcher so I just sprayed this on in the morning when i put on my shoes. My shoes literally felt better the first day, and after 3 straight days of using this in the morning the shoes fit perfectly. No more pain in the toe. I highly, highly recommend this. There is more than enough in the bottle for my 2 pairs of shoes - probably enough for at least 5 pairs with multiple sprayings for each pair.

Maybe it'd work better on a shoe with thinner leather
I've been trying to stretch a pair of Timberlands for a couple months now. I leave a shoe stretcher in them every night and weekly for around 84 hours straight from Thursday night to Monday morning. Each time, I saturate the shoes with this spray and crank the stretcher down to the point that I'm nervous it might damage the shoes. The shoes still aren't stretched. At least the spray was cheap, but the shoes weren't. I bought another pair of shoes in the meantime and plan to just leave the stretcher in my Timberlands 24/7 to see if that will finally get the job done. Not saying the spray is completely worthless, but it didn't work for me. Maybe it'd work better on a shoe with thinner leather. To my understanding you do need to get leather wet to stretch it, so I imagine this must be necessary in some way.

Does the job..........
I have purchased this before and the brand is well established. If you are considering any of their products buy with confidence!! A personal note.........when stretching shoes I use the product and wearing socks I put on the shoes, boots etc and wear them for as long as reasonably possible. Then use wooden shoe trees to maintain shape. This is NOT a paid review.

It realy works
Depending on the shoe you will have to apply it several times. I used it on 2 different shoes and one needed 2 applications and the other needed 4. But it really works!
