Size not as claimed. It’s too tight and cannot be used. I would suggest the suppliers to be more specific and factual on size descriptions. Couldn’t use. Buyers - be aware !!

This product seems to be illegal. To display a CE mark it should have had a type approval examination by a notified body. The notified body name and address should be on the product and/or packaging. It is not. It comes with no instructions. This is particularly important when removing buoyancy by taking floats out. This product is for children. The CE mandatory warning is hidden from view. There are numerous other elements of the design and construction that mean this product would not pass a CE examination.Separately the zip is narrow, unbranded and cheap with a metal pull. The neoprene is thin and there is no mention of the other fabrics used on the labelling.This swim jacket appears to present as an expensive and fully tested product but on examination it is cheap and seemingly would not pass a type approval examination and should not be CE marked which would make it illegal for sale in the UK and EU.

Ich habe für meinen 2 1/2 Jahre alten Sohn diese Schwimmweste in Größe M gekauft, in der Hoffnung dass er beim Spielen mehr Freiheiten an den Armen hat als mit Schwimmflügeln.Die Schwimmweste hatte gepasst, war nicht zu klein oder zu groß.Am nächsten Tag im Schwimmbad die Weste angezogen und ins Wasser. Die Freiheiten an den Armen war gewährleistet. Aber wehe das Kind ist in etwas tieferen Wasser wo es nicht stehen kann! Die Kinder kommen in Bauchlage, sind mit dem Kopf unter Wasser und kommen mit dem Kopf nicht mehr alleine über die Wasseroberfläche!!! Die Gefahr dass das Kind im Wasser ertrinkt ist mit dieser Weste zig mal höher als ohne!!! Dann lieber Schwimmflügel und weniger Bewegungsfreiheit und man muss nicht eine so große Angst haben dass das Kind sein Leben verliert wenn man es mal in etwas tieferem Wasser mal los lässt damit es mal allein im Wasser treiben kann! Definitiv keine Kaufempfehlung!!! Ich rate jedem Elternteil diese Weste dringlichst ab!!!

I bought this for my son who has autism and is struggling learning to swim, as soon as he put it on he loved it. It's freed up his arms and legs and he's so happy to swim in it. Excellent all round

- [ ] As a parent of twin two year olds we have tried various swimming aids to keep our kids free to play but safe when in water. Most of the arm bands and swim rings restrict their ability to play and don’t really help with teaching them how to swim. We were so impressed with this vest I felt compelled to review. The vest is both snug and safe, the Velcro fittings provide more than adequate security and the material was soft to the touch with no skin rubbing etc. Furthermore they bobbed up and down loving the feeling of being able to float, play with ease and started the early stages of learning to swim. This is definitely the one for both toddlers and kids....an excellent product!!

I purchased one of these for my eldest son and his confidence soared the very first time he ever wore it! I tried it on his little brother today (who normally hates swimming and hangs on to me or his father the whole time) and it was a great success, we now have a little boy who is treading water by himself, reaching out, kicking off and blowing bubbles happily! All in half an hour! These vests are, as they say, not life vests and they do not provide full floatation - which is ideal - I have found that with too much buoyancy my children become complacent and reliant on aids, like armbands or the noodle, hanging on to it for dear life and never focusing on the actual enjoyment of swimming. However, these vests offer just enough buoyancy for them to make only a small effort to swim in order to stay above water and as you remove the floats, it takes a little more, and a little more. They get used to maintaining themselves in the water without becoming dependent on floatation devices. They really are a marvel! They are comfortable, fit well and don't rub.
