I think that an increase of $3 a bottle is price gouging! I am not happy with that after using for months at the lower price. True everything has increased in price usually an average of .50 cents for this price range. That's the problem when you find a good product and write positive reviews to share with others. They get greedy and raise the price....HoHum! I do however, like the product and even tried a different product that was stronger but didn't give the relief from pain that this one does. So like everyone else, I am stuck with the price increase because the company or distributor got greedy! I ordered this time but will look for a different distributor or the company website in the future. I was confused because some people had different reactions to taking it initially so I went to different sources to find out why. I found out that this is an anti-oxidant and cleanses toxins from your body. Some people that have built up toxins will experience headaches, stomach upset or other reactions. If that is the situation always take with food and reduce the amount you are taking. Also, taking with Vitamin C will help with how it absorbs into your body. Make sure that if taking medications that you space about 2 hours before or after when taking with Vitamin C or your medications won't be as effective. After taking a comfortable amount for about 2 weeks then slowly increase. Also, it is unusual but some people cannot take sulfur and do have reactions. I did not have any negative side effects with this brand when starting with 2 in the morning and two at dinner. I felt the effects within a couple of days in my knees that were very painful. I started walking again daily (about 15 min) and the results got better and pain free. During the winter when I was less active, they didn't work as well but still better than taking medications. So staying active is key. I did find that my hair grew faster and my skin is more even toned which were another plus. They are good for your digestive system and removing toxins as I mentioned above and also helps with allergies. I am giving small amounts to my dog with peanut butter and her nasal allergies are better. You should also drink plenty of water to aid the release of toxins or you could get headaches. I really like the product just not the price now. With so much competition for this product, I don't think it was a good idea for such a drastic price increase. I have also read where some people have had a good experience for dental issues and would like to know more. Overall it sounds like MSM is a very beneficial product and I plan to keep taking.

Love NOW Products - great quality with a great price tag. MSM comes with many benefits in addition to joint support such as boosting the immune response and improving the health of hair skin and nails. Would recommend!

I have had the worldest worst allergies for the last 6+ years. It started around mid twenties. I had always had mild to semi severe allergies in the spring and summer but they had worsened to 9 months plus a year and included getting sinus infections 3-5 times a year. It was getting so severe I was having to get shots, I had tried acupuncture, holistic methods, everything. If someone told me that waking up at 3 am on a full moon and standing outside naked on one foot would help, trust me, I would try it. Then I read about MSM. I read some people had helped their allergies and I figured, what the heck. I might as well try it. Ordered it last Friday, came on Sunday. (super quick!) In order to truly make sure I gave it a fair shake I decided not to take any allergy meds so I could determine its effectivness. My day two taking this drug (I have been taking 5000 mg per day), I felt a ton better and could breathe. My doctor would tell you my nose is in a constant state of inflammation. Today, when I went to see him, he was surprised, that with Texas allergies in full blown mode, I had no inflammation in my nose. I was floored. I have taken the things for four days. That's it! Today a coworker at the office was miserable. He was sneezing, eyes were watering, and looked so miserable that another coworker asked if he had pink eye. I asked him first if he wanted a typical allergy pill. He said yes. Took it. Around 2 hours later was still sneezing, coughing, eyes watering. I asked him to humor me and take 5 MSM. He said sure. He was miserable. Within 30 min he wasn't sneezing or eyes watering. He immediately started asking me what it was I gave him. So apparently guys, it isn't just me. If you are suffering like I was, give it a try. You might just find like I did that it is a miracle supplement! :)

Again, one never really knows if these supplements work that well. However, I was told about MSM for joint pain, arthritis pain and swelling, bursitis, tendinitis, cartilage, high cholesterol and a whole host of other things. Do some research before buying and trying. I would try it before my next cholesterol lab work. I haven't felt any different one way or the other, but am interested to see the next lab results.

I first bought this supplement because of its supposed anti-inflammatory properties. I got more than I bargained for. It's a powerful body detoxifier. I started taking 2 capsules (1000mg x 2) on a Sunday. By the following Thursday I felt crappy. I felt even worse on Friday including symptoms of a deep depression. By Saturday I felt GREAT!!!! Several weeks later I went to the doctor with what I thought were symptoms of gallstones. I had tenderness in that region but we decided if it got worse I'd call him. It cleared up within a day but then had a second "flareup" later that week. But then everything returned to normal. Months later I had to go in for an ultrasound scan for a different condition. While the tech was at it I asked her if she could take a quick peek at my gall bladder. She took a look and reported that I had no stones at all... my gall bladder was 100% clean. I think what had happened was that the MSM dissolved whatever gallstones I might have had and they blocked the duct twice on their way out which might have accounted for the gallstone symptoms I had months earlier. I credit the MSM for this because it's the only thing that I did differently over the previous year. I've been taking 2000mg a day ever since and am on my 10th bottle of this stuff.

My fault this didn't work. I got all caught up in the hype about joint health and thought this would help me. Unfortunately, I have a sensitivity to sulfur and my skin broke out horribly. I get eczema sometimes but it's been clear for so long until I tried taking this. I stopped and my skin started to heal up. I have purchased other products from NOW Supplements with zero issues. I should have realized before that a sulfur supplement would have caused issues for me that would be worse than the joint issues I'm dealing with.

First of all, I am a 45 year old woman with 2 kids. I lost a lot of hair with my 2 children. I do lots of research though, and soon learned why the hair loss occurs and that it would grow back. It did.... however, it never again grew back to the left it had been before, which was about 2 inches below the bra strap on my back. My pregnancies had affected the anagen phase (growing phase) of my hair by shortening it. I did not cut my hair for SIX years, not even a trim, and my hair refused to grow longer, it remained 1 inch above my bra strap, and refused to grow back to where it was. That said, my hair WAS growing normally! I dye my hair, so it is easy to measure the growth in a months time, by measuring the length of my natural color at the root between touching up the color. My average growth rate was 1 inch per month. Thats really good growth, right? So then why was my hair staying the same length? I did research into the growth cycle of head hair, and discovered why. The anagen phase controls how long the hair will grow before it is shed. Apparently, because the growing phase of my hair was shortened by pregnancy hormones that permanently changed it... my hair was spending less time growing and fell out sooner, leading to shorter hair, and the length it had grown to above my bra band was the maximum limit now. No fair! I wanted to kn I w if I could change that at all, maybe take hormones or something. I researched stuff like monixidil for women, but those products are for people that are losing too much hair and gave thinning hair. I wasn't going bald, I was going SHORT. I also read about biotin, but the thing with biotin is, it does nothing for you unless you have a biotin deficiency, which I did not. It also will do nothing to make hair LONGER. It just helps it to grow at a normal rate if you are deficient. SO.... I purchased these supplements after having read that some people have had success in lengthening the amount of time their hair follicles would spend in the anagen phase and hopefully lengthen that phase, thus lengthen my hair overall. So I purchased 2 bottles, because I also read that it takes 3 months to kick in. Each bottle contains 2 months worth of doses (if you take the minimum dose of 2 pills each day). I'm a HUGE skeptic. I dont trust anything, but I'm certainly game to try. I took 2 pills per day and after emptying the first bottle, I had zero length. I wasn't shocked. I honestly didn't expect the pills would do anything at all. But, by the time I had finished the second bottle (nearly 4 months) my hair was at the middle of my bra strap accross my back!! I was completely floored. After SIX years of no noticeable change in the length of my hair, my hair was growing longer! Now, I am on my third bottle, halfway through and my hair is still growing. I'm completely amazed, and totally happy. My hair has grown 2 inches longer in 5 months. I'm going to keep using MS as long as I need to to keep it growing longer. With luck, it will go back to the length it was before I had children :)

30代 の膝や肩関節をやっちゃった草野球人です。 昨年、夏から膝をやってしまい、騙し騙しやっていましたが階段ののぼり降りが厳しい状態です。 サプリで何かないか？と調べた所、MSMにたどりつきました。 ネットで調べると、筋肉緊張緩和、炎症緩和、軟骨成分を作るサポートをするのが、MSMの主軸と書いてました。 私は、サプリとグルコサミンを併用していますが、 体感としては、絶大な効果をかんじている訳ではないですが、引き締まり感や、寝起きスッキリ、若干膝が楽な様な気がします。 まだ、併用して間もないので体感は、そこまでしていませんが、 グルコサミンを飲まれている方は、MSM飲む事をオススメします。 何より安いですしね！ これは絶対買いアイテムです。
