Great watch for a great price.
I love this watch! For the price, I got more than expected. It is attractive and light-weight. It's comfortable to wear and the ability to take links out of the band, with the included tool, really is a plus. I've gotten lots of compliments on it from both friends and strangers. I met one guy who had the exact same watch! In fact, he had several Bewell wooden watches. He said they are low priced enough to have a nice collection without spending a fortune. I have only had it for a little over a week and I haven't had to adjust the time at all so it seems accurate enough. The date is easy to read but not the easiest to set. The halfway mark on the stem isn't well defined so I had to fiddle with it until I found the proper length to pull out the stem. The 3 small dials are for the stop-watch; milliseconds, seconds, & minutes. The top button starts & stops it and the bottom button resets the stop-watch. No troubles concerning durablility, so far. I am careful not to get it wet. I wonder how the wood back and bracelet will react to sweat over time. I wear it mostly for work, which required business attire so I'm not putting much stress on it. If it does weather over time it is just doing what wood normally does. I'll switch it to casual wear and order a new Bewell watch for dress wear.

This watch looks great and even though it is a dark watch it ...
This watch looks great and even though it is a dark watch it somehow attracts the eye. I have received many compliments on it already. I was afraid that the wood wouldn’t feel as nice on my skin as my metal watches. I am happy to report that it not only feels nice, it is also very lightweight. These are the things you would hope to get in a dress watch. Looks good, Feels nice, Lightweight, and of course it keeps time. This I will actually need a while to comment on. Since, I have only had this watch for about a week I cannot comment on the battery life or how well it keeps time. I can say that when you get the watch the battery isn’t in use because there is a piece of plastic holding the crown out. Of course, the battery will slowly disperse energy anyway, but this will lesson that energy loss. And, as for the keeping time, when activated it ticks away just as well as my other watches, the clock on my computer, and my smartphone. Remember watches are not forever. At some point they will need maintenance to keep giving good time. This is my first watch from Bewell and it probably won’t be the last. When you receive this watch it comes in a very small box (I believe the box is recyclable). The presentation isn’t as showy as other watch manufacturers, but that doesn’t take anything away from the watch itself. Since the watch is made from wood you should expect that your watch even amongst others of its kin should look somewhat unique due to the fact the wood grain pattern will be slightly different. The same goes for the color, it will have variance. The watch also comes with a tool to use for link removal for those that need a tighter fit (like myself). I usually need to remove a link or two from the watches that I buy. Another nice note for this watch is, since it isn’t completely metal, you will notice that the temperature of the watch will be more medium. When you first put it on it won’t be as cold as a metal watch and after wearing it for a while it won’t get as hot. For those in harsher climates (hot or cold) this is definitely a plus. If you have any issues with the watch, or concerns, you should definitely reach out to the seller. They will help you in anyway they can to make you happy with your product. Their customer service is great.

Great watch, Bad instructions
This was ordered for me as a gift, when I got it for my birthday I was thrilled! It's beautiful, works well and fits extremely comfortably. I followed the instructions included in the box and added the additional links I needed in the band. I wore it out that night to go see family and celebrate. I noticed that one of the rods in the band kept coming out. Soon another one came out, and the watch slowly fell apart. I was pretty bummed out, so I emailed customer service. At first there was some misunderstanding, and the representative sent a new set of instructions, this one much more clear on what to do when you put the watch together. These were clear, very easy to follow and had all the information missing from the other set which left out a few key factors. Unfortunately it was too late, and the parts were gone despite our best efforts to find them after they fell out. After sending some photos to show exactly what was happening they offered me two options, I could get a broken watch that was just to harvest parts from OR they could send me a new watch. I see sense in both options, and not being interested in having another broken watch on hand and not confident in my ability to repair it, or even get it repaired, I opted to have a new watch sent to me. Somehow by January 3rd the watch had arrived, as soon as it arrived the same rep that had contacted me through the entire process emailed me to check and make sure the watch was in good shape and everything was resolved. It was at times a frustrating process, however in this case I'm not completely sure that the process could be improved from the sellers end, it was just a frustrating situation. To their credit they did handle it quickly and definitely to my satisfaction. I would very much encourage you to look up the instructions online and really do your research on this before you start wearing it! It's a great watch!

Excellent! Can be difficult to modify band.
This is a beautiful watch! The black and red sandalwood contrast each other nicely, with the chrome hardware and copper plating give it a subtle sense of class. First impressions very high! Did not realize the built in Chronograph before purchasing, and I really like the function. I have gotten several compliments within the first week or so of wearing it. Definitely a conversation starter! This being the third wooden watch I've bought, the first from Bewell, the rods holding the links in place did prove to be somewhat difficult to put back together, compared with the other two that I purchased; much easier to remove, though. There are two pieces, one smaller one attached to the whole rod, which holds each link to the next. The smaller piece only fits into the outer part of the link, but proves to be very difficult to reattach to the rod, once removed, with only the provided tool. My suggestion would be to use a carpenter's nail set that can fit into the outer hole along with the provided tool. I mention this because I have seen many complaints about the watch falling apart, and could easily see how this could happen quickly after modification to the band, if the two pieces were not correctly connected. Overall, nothing but great feelings towards this purchase, the craftsmen(women) did an excellent job with this piece! Being a carpenter myself, I almost view it as a piece of art.
