What is the difference between Gentle Lather and Hair Cleansing Cream?

Gentle Lather Shampoo is best for fine and/or easily weighed down hair that requires less moisturizing. It has low lather, which prevents the hair from being stripped of natural oils.

Will Gentle Lather remove silicones from my hair?

No, Gentle Lather uses gentle cleansing agents which are not strong enough to remove silicones from hair. Our Clarifying Shampoo is strong enough to remove water soluble silicones.

My shampoo/conditioner are slightly different in color compared to my last bottle, is this normal?

Yes, it is completely normal and safe for use. Our batches can tend to have a slight variance in color due to the use of natural ingredients.

I'm not getting a lot of lather or bubbles during a wash, is that normal?

Yes, our cleansers are low-lather formulated, but rest assured they are working! If you desire more lather, try adding more finger scrubbing motion or you can double cleanse. Tip: the more lather you get, the cleaner your hair was to begin with.

Great product!

Love the product. Cleanses without stripping oil, leaving hair moisturized. For whatever reason the island fantasy scent does not remove as much oil as the other scent so I find myself having to double wash or wash more frequently. I didn't have this problem with the original. Still enjoy the product and recommend it for curly hair.

Nice low poo, low fragrance option

I can barely smell the fragrance, which I personally like. It by no means does a deep clean of your hair and scalp, but it's extremely gentle and does not leave hair greasy. My hair is naturally very oily and frizzy and this does a great job of removing oil without stripping my scalp. This is my mid-week go to.

The shampoo is extremely runny. I think this has been watered down.
