I was interested to try this, since I've never had a coffee scrub before. I think it's pretty good at exfoliating and does leave my skin feeling clean. However, the texture was pretty inconsistent in my bottle; sometimes it would come out as a paste and sometimes a gross-looking liquid. So that made me kind of concerned and lessened my want to use it. Overall, it was effective, but if you're sensitive to textures and anything that looks somewhat gross, you may want to look into a different cleanser.

A very gentle scrub. I grew up in the olden days where we used the apricot scrubs which would leave your face stripped and red and are apparently so bad for the environment. This is a much much gentler scrub--I had no redness or irritation from the scrub, and it did improve the texture of my skin after one use. It smells faintly coffeeish, which is nice. And no horrible miniplastics in the water supply!

This mCaffeine Coffee Face Scrub gets a lukewarm three stars from me. While it's gentle on my sensitive skin and doesn't cause any irritation, it leaves behind a residue that's harder to shake off than a clingy ex. Seriously, it's like trying to wash off a layer of butter after a wild cooking session. The scrub itself feels fine, but that greasy feeling it leaves behind is a definite deal-breaker.
