These actually do get hot. It says that you need to apply to the outside of your cloths. I apply it directly to my hip. I love this product and order it repeatedly.

Dear Nancy,I don't know, and the package lists only "iron, activated carbon, and water." HOWEVER, you stick them to your clothing, never your skin, as the instructions say. They may contain latex, but the only time they touch your skin is when you stick them on. If you're extremely allergic to latex, I guess you could use rubber gloves to put them on. In contrast to the previous answer, I have found Cura-Heat to be EXTREMELY helpful in relieving lower back/shoulder pain. They stay warm for at least 15 hours and relax tight muscles/tendons amazingly well for me. I hope this helps.Susan

The ones I ordered in 2020 say “up to 20 hours of powerful pain relief”. They now say up to 12 hours. What changed?

WOW stays really warm a LONG TIME WHY FIVE STARS

First, I do attach to outside of clothes, but usually that's a lightweight turtleneck. I have neck/shoulder issues. BECAUSE I put on clothing, it feels best if I'm LYING down as it puts it closer to my skin. I tend to put these on about an hour before bed. STILL warm the next morning! GREAT PRICE, BETTER than the better known one, and keeps my shoulder/neck WARM all night. I love ICY HOT and this is better and longer lasting and not as messy and no smell. For the price, I say give it a shot.

Cura-Heat .therapy patches.

The heat therapy patch was not effective at all. The instructions on the product was followed meticulously. The product packaging doesn't have the manufacturing date.. however the expiry date states 2026- 01-31. Not satisfied 😕 . The cost of the product is quite expensive.
