I have an evo980 on this, and it's in a pcie x4 gen 3, Gigabyte aorus elite b450.The max speed is 800mb Is there a setting or diver to make it faster?

Has anyone used this to boot an hp z820 workstation? if yes, what nvme did you use ?

A Kingston predator m.2 would work best. But is no longer produced but you can get lucky and find find one used, next best is Samsung sm961 achi.

I have 2 slots in my asus b550 -f but, i need a third one for my games so i dont gonna have any problem right?

If you have any an empty PCIe 3.0 slots that's at least 4x (4 lanes) you should have no prblem adding this card. If by "my games" you mean a graphics card, again, you need to be sure that after the graphics card is installed, there's still one 4x PCIe 3.0 card slot exposed.
