Le Creuset Enamel On Steel Stockpot, 8 qt., Cerise

I received the item with a small chip inside the pot, considering it is enamel coated I returned it thinking it might be a big damage in the future nonetheless the pot was beautiful. Waiting for my refund it has been 1 week since the item was picked up.

I love this item very much because it is not too heavy and not flimsy either.It also look great

We use this pot frequently and treat it gently to keep the enamel unpitted because this isn't as sturdy as the cast iron version. This pot has left heft but isn't flyweight either. This was a good buy.

Me preocupé viendo otras reseñas y al mismo tiempo me dije…”que probabilidades tengo de recibir un producto dañado?” Bueno, recibi uno con el esmalte levantado, horrible, imposible de ignorar en una de las asas de la hoya. Me la quedaría si el precio fuera de $5 usd. No por $100 que pagué. Terrible.

I ordered this for a bridal shower, so I do not know how to totally rate this as I only have experience with a very old one. (Thus 4 stars) The color is beautiful and it will make a nice presentation. Don’t laugh, but I received the Le Creuset Dutch oven for my wedding shower gift over 40 years ago. It’s still one of my favorite pieces. It is easy to clean and very sturdy and heavy. However, I am basically rating the old one.

I bought this to replace a pot with a stainless steel interior which I had used for cooking pasta for many years. I was unaware that the enamel coating of this pot, while beautiful, is ill-suited for pasta. I've used this pot three times for pasta now, turning down the heat a bit more each time, and three times I have had pasta stuck to the bottom of the pan. If that's your purpose for this pot, I cannot recommend.
