It's recommended to remove the pre-installed screen protector. Are any screen protectors compatible with this case??

I had no luck and actually settled on the commuter case. It works with my Dome glass screen protector.

yeah i still have my s7 plus since 2017 with the defender series with the otterbox screen protector, it does the job (except the rubber expands within the years), so I can wait till OtterBox releases a Defender version of this with screen protector

why does otterbox recommend removing the preinstalled screen protector? how am i going to protect my screen and the rest of my phone at the same time?

You don't need to remove the protective screen that comes with the phone for the screen less otterbox. At least i didn't, works just fine.
