They are a little pricey, but man are they good.
My kid likes them enough that even after a hike where we had them for lunch, he wants them for dinner. I know there are cheaper options, but these are by far the best tasting IMO.

Stores great - Tastes even better
By far one of my favorite backpacking meals out there! After a long hike it's easy to make, and unlike a lot of these meals, I really look forward to opening this one, it doesn't taste like a reheated meal nearly at all. Lots of protein and calories! Mountain House really did well with this one!

Good stuff
Great for off the grip, simple to prepair and quite tasty, 2 Oz of extra water extra 5 minutes is golden.

Tasty and rehydrates well. Not enough for 2 servings
Mountain House claims these little 4 or 5oz pouches are 2 serving meals. They've probably come up with some rationale to justify this claim. But it's simply wrong. If someone on a remote outing were depending on these little meals for sustenance, especially if they were hiking, they could get in trouble. A little 4 or 5oz pouch might get one person by that's not being physically active.One pouch certainly does not have 2 servings.
