Holman Rainbow Study Bible: KJV Edition, Hardcover

I love the latest version of THE KJV rainbow Bible. This is exactly the new Bible you should purchase...its different and unique and isn't burdened down with extraneous things. The size is good...not too small but not big and bulky. See pics. The study notes and extra sections are just enough without adding too much to the Bible. When one wants to just read Scripture the color coded portions are enough to cause the reader to reflect on the main topic of the passage without being diverted to study notes and losing the flow of reading Scripture. The center references provide good opportunities to jump off and study in more detail related passages of Scripture. Comparing like with like as  true Berean. This is a perfect Bible with the essentials. I love the 365 daily verse section with the thoughtful touches of space to write when verses are memorized in addition to reading plans and such. I own many Bibles and I truly like the print and boldness of the text. It's easy to read. There are Bibles being printed today that sacrifice readability for size...thus negating the point. If it's small to carry, but difficult to read...then what's the point. I have also purchased Bibles where the print is so light that it becomes distracting to see print on the other side of the pages. In fact this seems to be the main problem I have had with new Bibles today...the print is too light. Thankfully this Bible is "just right". The resource, beautiful colors, and size make it a delight.

Right throughout my life I've been exposed to The HOLY BIBLE, it's been an essential guidance system in my life in terms of spiritual growth and moral values.Over the years I've been through a few copies and needs a replacement and came across this edition of the HOLMAN RAINBOW STUDY BIBLE K.J.V. EDITION, HARDCOVER and was instantly drawn to it due to vivid thematic color coded layouts and other outstanding features inclusive of maps, illustrations and a 365 daily quotations among other essential features which makes the BIBLE almost supreme..This is an attractive, modern rendition of ancient, sacred texts!!!. It just pulls you in.. it's magnetic in its nature!!!.I have just one major drawback:..the pages are very thin and if you're not a tad painstaking, a page can be easily ripped or wrinkled but nonetheless, I still hold this precious book in very high regards...so to those who needs a new Bible..I recommend this edition very highly!!!

I liked the fact that different colors were used to mark different passages and I liked the fact that there was a chart at the bottom of each page telling what the different colors meant. I like so much about this Bible! It's what I've always wanted!

Awesome bible. The hardcover is essential is you want this bible. The softcover ones have binding issues and they fall apart within a week. The hardcover is great though. Don't buy those $25 Wal-Mart and CVS softcover rainbow bibles. Get the hardcover copy. Full of maps and charts along with a great study system.

Even though it looked exactly like what I wanted, it's much nicer than I imagined. Very nice. Will likely purchase more in the future.

Love the color coded print of this Bible, breaks it up so its easy on the eyes and the coding telling you who is speaking, i.e. God or Prophet, etc.

Bought this for my mother as a mother's day gift.She loves it.

I just got the Holman Rainbow Bible KJV today; one day ahead of when i thought i would get it; the leather touch cover is quite good; my only complaint, and that would be mine, is that i did not realize upon buying it, that the cover was partially in Lavender; that can be corrected with a bible cover.i like the fact that it is color-coded; this helps me to see which sections are meant for God, Salvation and sin. if i had a complaint, or rather, i wish the font were the same size as the first page of the bible, which is about the scriptual promises that are in the bible. the Thomas Nelson KJV bible that i have, it's font size is a tad bigger.i like that there are maps in the books of the bible, introductioins to the various books, and so on. when i open the bible, it opens flat, which is a plus for me; i also like the pages about what weights and measures were back then, and how they equal with ours today; i was surprised to see a few pages at the back of the bible where there was room to write down notes; if i ever find it harder to read this font size in this bible, i will just pass it on to someone with better eyesight.the one con that i have about the shipping was how Amazon just shoved the bible into a three-sided cardboard mailing box.if you purchase this bible just be careful with it's pages; they are thin and wouldn't take much to rip them.on overall quality, i give this Holman Rainbow KJV Bible 5 Stars; but because of the semi-small font and Lavender (just on the bible's spine) i give this Bible 3, no more like 3 1/2 Stars.

Wow this Bible has blown me away. I've already read about 20 chapters or so of it already and love reading it colour-coded as it is, though a couple of times I thought I'd have colour-coded sections of verses differently. Still, it's a wonderful Bible. A few times while reading I'd look up cross-references and found they are also excellent. I'd thoroughly recommend if one would like to add a Bible to their collection.

The colour coding helps to break the passages down providing a much clearer understanding of the text. However, a few of the colours are very similar and arent easily distinguished if the lighting in the room is not good.Text size is perfect for me but smaller than I had expected. I especially love the fact it has underlined the spoken word of the father, son and holy spirit which i have not found in and other bibles. There are plenty of references to search and the harmony of the gospels is another great study aid. The maps and diagrams/illustrations help to create a better understanding of where/what is happening. There are some very useful features at the back including a table of weight/measurements and popular bible verses. An excellent bible - love it and definitely recommend it to others

Excellent! Beautifully presented. I cannot wait to start using it and encourage all my family to dive in! And really that is just how it’s presented. It makes you want to investigate and research and learn. I’ve bought a wooden bookstand to present it on my bookshelf and invite anyone to get stuck in!

I already had the Bible in an IV and I needed it also in the King James it is a beautiful Bible and the colours help you are great deal
